Ban Sabai Bungalow is located right on Song River and is a little bit further away from the busy area of the town, which makes it a real retreat, but you can get to the main streets within 5 minutes walk. Just outside of the resort, there's a bike rental (30,000KIP/day), which offers both mountain-bikes and motorbikes and it's close to the bridge where you cross the river to go to the Blue Lagoon. Just one thing that you should be aware of: animal alert! The staff warned us about no food policy, that it's highly prohibited to bring food into the room. We had a box of cracker (closed with individual sealed packs) in the room and in the middle of the night we heard noises and found that there were mice in the room trying to steal the crackers! Although it wasn't that bad, but it was hard for us to fall back asleep again.

Small but cozy room. Very near to Vang Vieng Town. You may enter and swim in Mekong river but at your own risk. Breakfast reasonablly good. Provide 10% discount if you dine-in. Can view sunset but not sunrise. Very near to Blue Lagoon. Tubing in a cave is a fun. Vang Vieng is a must go place espacially for explorer.

Location is by the river on the quieter side of town which I really like. I love the atmosphere here. The bars are about 10-15 minutes walk. Breakfast is quite good, several choices plus free-flow of tropical fruits, juices, coffee and tea. Great view of the beatiful mountains and river while having breakfast. The design of the room with balcony is awesome with comfortable beds.

Authentic Asian feel. Individual villas. Great views of the river. Wonderful restaurant on the Mekong. It's fantastic value!

Breakfast was not good as expect. Coffee pot in the breakfast area was left empty - not available for guests.

Ban Sabai was perfect! Staff were lovely and really helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is great and affordable. The breakfast was also great. The cabins are nicely decorated and secure. The location is perfect right on the Mekong and within easy walking distance from where all the main bars and stuff are (you don't want to stay right in the heart of town, but ban sabai is the perfect distance)..... Through no fault of the hotel we did have a water leak in our room when we stayed and the staff dealt with it perfectly. They were very attentive and fixed it immediately then dried out wet items and also offered room discount. I can't fault this place... It was the perfect choice!

Staffs were great!!! Very helpful and I love the veranda. All rooms have veranda with karst mountain view and Mekong river. I love the traditional concept of Baan Sabai. If you really want to relax and enjoying your stay at Vang Vieng, Basn Sabai is a nice choice.

Excellent location - was nice to have a pool too.

Location, location, location. Ban Sabai really did exceed our expectations. The bungalows were lovely and looked fantastic set against the rivers and the karst limestone cliffs. The staff are spot on and helpful at sorting trips etc (without up tariffing). The complex is smaller and more intimate and perfect for sitting around in beautiful well maintained surroundings right on the river. Overall we loved it here and were very happy with our two days there. Make sure you do a kayak down the river, tubing in the caves and visiting the blue lagoon is a must!

設備老舊，熱水不熱；房間內蟲蟲太多，早上起來床單上面有螞蟻、蟲子在爬。 Check in後，不會主動幫客人提行李，要客人自己拿行李走台階去房間 第二天竟然也不整理房間，也不換毛巾，更不給瓶裝水，還要自己去櫃台換毛巾！ 房間內也沒冰箱，以高房費而言，真的不值！

酒店环境很满意

酒店内订的其他旅行社的TOUR很差，说半天的游，实际只滑了皮划艇一小时，最后酒店人员虽然叫来了旅行社- 的人，就解释说水势低等等，并退了一半的钱。无论这个理由符合实际与否，其实酒店人员早知道这个TOUR的- 实际情况，我觉得他们应该告诉客人，而不只是收钱转包。

非常棒的酒店，非常欣赏它的环境及位置，特别是坐在河边，沐浴着阳光，吃着可口的早餐，值得再次入住。

Besser kann ein Hotel nicht liegen. Direkt am Flußufer mit einem gepflegten Garten und einem sauberen kleinen Pool. Gutes Frühstück. Alles wird getoppt vom Beer Lao zum Sonnenuntergang, Fluß und riesige Karstberge direkt vor der Nase!

Hellhörige kleine Bastbungalows in der niedrigen Preisklasse, in denen jedes Außengeräusch zu hören ist. Kein Safeangebot.
