Great location, many location are in walking distance, including nightlife. Staff is friendly, attentive and always trying to help, even though English sometimes can be a challange. New hotel in a colonial style, iPod docking stations in the room, free internet, airport shuttle. Breakfast could be improved, service is friendly but sometimes not efficient. Not really prepared for families with small children (no cribs & babychairs available).

A purpose built hotel constructed by a family with generations of hotel experience. The furnishings and decor are exquisite, the staff friendly and the food excellent. The owner, Mimi, is most helpful and like all Laostions a delightful person. The in house tele communications, (not being able to access an outside line) - I am told they are working on that with the provider.

The staff were excellent. The fact that most spoke passable English made it easy to deal with them and they were at all times very helpful. The location is very central and close to some great cafes. It is a very new property so there was little issues that cropped up but all in all it was an excellent stay The included breakfast was good but didn't include any options for travelers that don't consume pork

Nice big rooms. Perfect location ( for me anyway!). Bath fills up quickly & doesn't run out of hot water (I've found that quite rare in Asia!). The breakfast. No shower curtain.

The detail in the interior design and choice of decor was impeccable and reflects the personality of the hotel and history of Laos with a French influence. Staff were always there to offer assistance & to cater to your needs and always professional and polite.

Upon arriving it's appearance just exudes. The staff are friendly, helpful and extremely courteous. The hotel is beautiful, and impeccably furnished and decorated. The room is spacious, and offers everything to make you feel like you're in the comforts of your own home. The location is great, near the Mekhong River and the sights. Many great restaurants and shops. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. I would recommence it to anyone going to Vientiane. I am already looking forward to returning to Dhavara for my next trip to Vientiane. It's not a fault, but I wish it had a swimming pool. That would complete the perfection of this beautiful Boutique Hotel.

Synd att inte the roof top restaurant var öppen. Skulle vinna på en pool, även om inte vi saknade en för en natt. Skulle varit trevligt med en bar på taket!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and spacious. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, they could also be a bit more knowledgeable about the area to make recommendations on places to go and things to see. Also, the breakfast was quite good, although after three mornings, it became a bit tedious with the same menu each day. I would suggest some more variety on different days.

Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Food at the hotel was tasty. It's well located within the town centre, close to the main sight- seeing spots and close to alternative choices of cafes and restaurants. On our first night there, someone threw a party with very loud music and the hotel apologised to us for the disturbance and upgraded us to a suite free of additional charges. The suite and the superior rooms are very good. Nicely done up.

The hotel is new and clean. Staff are very helpful and courteous. The quality of their cappuccino and latte at breakfast is remarkable. Noise in the morning from construction works near by and also from the hotel lift's bell.
