Staff good, location chilled
Ground floor room looking over river would benefit from fly screens so you could look at the view!
It wasn't cheap, but it was worth to stay there. Very clean. Staff very kind, friendly and helpful. We recommend this place!
Tv didn't work. For this price they could to try to fix the problem. But this is only a detail.
The hotel is very well maintained - great large rooms, comfortable bathroom, nice decoration. The restaurant serves absolutely fantastic and delicious food (people from other guesthouses come here to eat, also complimentary breakfast is excellent). The highest value of this place is however, the staff - everyone exceptionally welcoming, helpful, always smiling, speaking very good English. They are also very flexible - we had to change our plans and left one day earlier. They did not charge us for the missing day, although the reservation was for longer. Our special thanks to Mee for all his help and kindness. We had a wonderful time and if we ever come back to Champasak, we will definitely stay with Inthira.
The ambience, staff and food. The new patio and WIFI on the bank of the Mekong is an added attraction especially at sunrise.
View and staff
Large comfortable rooms. Helpful staff - in the absence of numerous local tour operators will arrange wide range of excursions. Good restaurant.
The staff and the location were both excellent. The room was well equipped and efficiently designed. It was a nice place to come home to.
If you didn't want mosquitoes, you had to have the shutters in place, which made the room very dark, and prevented you from benefitting from the very pleasant view out the window.
Food was great. Restaurant staff were nice and welcoming. Nicely located along the Mekong River. Truly memorable witnessing the first sunrise of 2015 from this hotel.
definitely rates among the best places we have stayed on our travels in SE Asia during the past 15 years. The staff were excellent, especially the wait & kitchen staff. The meals are the best in Laos we have had in recent years, the Kaeng Massaman being the best I've had anywhere.
The riverside dining area was somewhat dangerous with the lack of railings along the edge of a good 20 ft drop to the banks of the Mekong river.Once over here service tended to drop off to zero.
This is the complaint we adressed to this Hotel: Hello, we want to inform you that following our stay at Inthira Champasak, we have not benefited from the service up to your reputation in view of the price paid in the region. The service received from some employees was very bad, irregular and especially nonchalant and disinterested, it looks like you were bothering the staff when we strolled applications, which does not give a good image to your hotel. We also met multiple problems with all services; no TV, internet interrupted, credit card terminal down and problems with the water that was notably cut completely and it was impossible to shower when we left that night. All services offered by the hotel are also more expensive than elsewhere and overall, we are not happy with our stay and paid too much given the circumstances or only for the look that was good no more.
The location and rooms (I had one on the Mekong-side of the road, opposite the main building) are wonderful. Cleaning is excellent (although there were a couple of ants in the room) and staff is extremely friendly.
The staff was very young and very helpful as long as it concerned standard issues. Unfortunately other issues remained unsolved (eg: they have information on local guides, but as soon as you ask if there is a guide who can go to nearby jungle they don't know and can not direct you elsewhere). Also a problem regarding the wifi-router remained unsolved for 2 days, although I asked them 3 times to fix it). Also they started a discussion with another guest because of a bottle of water which may or may not have been part of the complementary water. In a hotel in this price range, I expect the staff not to hassle guests because of 30ct worth of water. The garden on the Mekong-shore could be made much more pleasant by planting a couple of trees, flowers.
Atmosphere in a quiet and charming city. Inthira Champasak is the best accommodation in the city with helpful staff. Easy to have a boat tour for 4000 islands and taking your free time to explore the city with bike.
We are great fans of the Inthira hotels and this one did not disappoint. We booked for 2 nights and stayed 9.. The rooms are large, beautifully designed and really comfortable, the restaurant served good tasty food and a great breakfast. The staff were great. Champasak is a pretty quiet little village which was perfect for relaxing in after weeks on the road. We will definitely be back.
it was all good.
Excellent accommodation and meals. Quiet location on the long road along the river. Walking along the road snacking from the vendors in the evening. Everyone very friendly. Walking distance to relaxing Champasak Spa. Boat rides across the river.
The cappuccino coffee!
Nice place to stay in a remote town. Everything worked in the room, bathroom was clean. Better than one would expect in a rural location
Shower pressure was non existent, airport transfer from pakse cost as much as the hotel room.
Good bed, nice design, friendly staff, MOSQUITO NET !!!
limited closet space...
We had rooms at the courtyard. There are beautifully designed, spacious comfy and quiet. Restaurant and service are good.
Some of the bathrooms fittings are worn out. Our toiled sit and shower hose were damaged.
we had to cross a busy street to get to the restaurant
Nice room, good food, nice staff
Very comfy bed. Nice room with little extras that make all the difference.
The toilet didn't flush. Not what we expected from the outside.
Room was clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bathroom. Good food in their own restaurant. Close to Wat Phu. You can easily rent a motorbike at this hotel to go to the temple and ride around the country side.
The basic facilities like laundry and motor hire are more expensive than in other places we've visited in the region. We had a room on the street side which was very noisy. Without ear plugs no sleep. Advise to the owner: the garden at the river side could be a lovely location for an outdoor terrace.
Spacious bungalows with wood floors.
Service in the restaurant was very slow.
The manager was very helpful at making arrangements for day trips and also onward travel
We didn't like the duplex rooms. They were the most expensive and I don't know why. They are right behind the kitchen looking onto an internal courtyard. The rooms overlooking the Mekong look a better bet. The duplex rooms are very poorly maintained. We tried two rooms and still ended up with a broken toilet seat!
