Efficient and well run
Location is good and the room is clean. There is an area where you can park the car.
Breakfast: you`d better skip it! It`s nothing. They had a tax for Card payment for the hotel, 3% more. The other reviews are true: people are not friendly, no English, just staring at you. The value for money was good, but 2 nights was enough.
Very small room for comparable high price. Unfriendly staff. Room without window or balcony while on booking.com they promote balcony with city view. Staff not willing to change room although hotel almost empty. Much better value at hotels and guesthouses in same block.
Excellent location, nice view from the 6th floor, breakfast was OK, comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff
Curtains don't make the room dark, so you rise with the sun. Windows not insulated, so all the noise comes in (mostly dogs, roosters, etc.)
When I pay by a credit card, 3% of fees are added.
Good Location + cute rooms. Breakfast is great - 5 stars.
Bed was very hard. Wifi not good. Staff spoke very little English. Was very hard to book a bus so went to another hotel to do this.
Nice new building and rooms. Very clean. Good location that allows you to walk to many places.
Worst wifi I have experienced in over 3 mo in Asia. It was always down. The staff couldn't be more useless. They didn't know where any major attraction was. They never tried to help me find it by looking for it on their 3GS phones that they are on constantly. They just said, 'no' with a smile. The rooms are small which doesn't both me all that much, but will other travelers. The bed it tucked into a nook, so you have to climb into the bed from the front. There are no outlets or lighting near the bed, so you must charge everything on the other side of the room. My room and many others I saw have a brick wall one foot from their windows. Light gets in, but you cannot see a thing.
Good location, many good restaurants and bars around. As well as embankment of Mekong river with evening market and nice playground for kids
The worst breakfast in my life. No choice at all: eggs, eggs or eggs
Helpful & Friendly Staffs
- Very clean, comfortable bed & bathroom - Nicely decorated reception area & lift - Good location, close to many recommended restaurants, food & drink stands, book store...
- I wish the room could be a bit larger. Anyway, it is very well furnished with style
The bed was comfortable
The service here was surprisingly poor. Staff were either rude or unhelpful. Breakfast was substandard (butter and marmalade w a cold dry breadroll and eggs w a canned sausage and lunch ham). Location while central was in an alleyway facing a construction site. Definitely not value for money; there are plenty of better hotels in Vientiane.
Some staff not friendly ,others good , room small for rate
Very poor breakfasts - no options for vegetarian, no buffet, 3 positions in menu from which you pick, nothing but eggs. Personnel doesnt speak English (selected staff does) - very difficult to communicate.
It's in a quiet street, and central to everything. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Breakfast could be improved it there was more variety, ie something other than eggs such as fruit salad yoghurt and. Muesli
Helpfull personel, very close from the city centre and a night market, nice big bed, coffee pot in the room
Found a big cockroach in my bathroom...
Clean, comfortable bed, quiet
wifi doesn't work, very slow when it does, ac had problems, balcony very small, $40 is too high for lao with non working wifi and faulty ac - the hotel opp them is much better at the same price.
the location which was not for from the main city activities
lots of mosquitoes in the room, hard bed, same breakfast everyday and limited choice, noisy room as the window are of low quality. One night of stay is okay but longer stay not recommended.
Manorom was a great location - close to the night market and lots of good restaurants but far enough away to be not too noisy (except for dogs which couldn't be avoided). Room was comfortable and clean and cozy. The buffet breakfast was great with good choices and the upstairs restaurant had panoramic views of the city.
Mostly good but didn't sleep well because of dogs which can't be helped. View from the balcony was not good but we didn't come for the views from our hotel room.
The location - close to the centre of the town...near to a good selection of places to eat, the river and markets
Central location, friendly staff and breakfast buffet were the only good things about this hotel.
Uncomfortable bed, BARELY functional wifi, overpriced, not given any toilet paper by the cleaning staff when we ran out, leeches on the walls at night.
Good location, easy to walk to all central points in Vientiane. Rooms are small, I couldn't imagine two people in a room my size. Decent value. Clean room and bathroom with basic amenities furnished.
I found the staff rude, the breakfast terrible, the dogs barking throughout the night, and spotty wifi at best left me impatient for my two nights to be over so I could leave.
Central location, room was confortable.
The staff (at the front desk) was not that nice and helpful...
Location is good as it is close to restaurants, the night market and also the bowling alley (which we found good as there is not a lot to Vientiane!).
Rooms are a little on the small side; wifi (and even internet on the pc's in the internet room) is shockingly poor so much so that I wouldn't consider this hotel as actually having wifi. One of the receptionists was quiet rude when we arrived and bearly acknowledged us during the check-in process. Left luggage is kept in the internet room which is blind to the reception so best to bear this in mind when considering what to leave in your luggage.
The location is great, easy to go to everywhere. The rooms are small, but very nice looking, confortable and clean. The wifi was great, so was stuff. There were shampoo (2 pcs), ear sticks, shower cap, dental kit for 1 person, but no soap.
The breakfast was very poor: fried eggs, omlette, fried bacon and sausages, margarine, jam, tea, caffee and soup. two kinds of bread and three kinds of fruits, nothing else, no vegetables, no cheese, no salads nothing. I had the feeling of 1 star hotel breakfast. Too bad for the nice view. In the room, one could see outside through the closed door.
