Muonglao Riverside by Villa Xandria  

Cute, unpretentious boutique hotel (eight rooms), with pleasant and convenient location on the banks of the Mekong and within short walking distance from main street (night market). Little Englis spoken, other than by manager, but a lot of smiling goodwill.

Seems to be very new. Rooms were beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds, air con if you want it. Bathroom was spotless and good water pressure, and hot. Fridge in room was handy. Excellent wifi, very strong. Gorgeous setting on the river, terrace is lovey to eat at with the views. Good location for easy access to cross to Laos. Staff spoke good English and arranged my tray el to Laos for a reasonable price. Kid friendly too if you have them, swings and toys for them to play with and real rabbits too! Fantastic value for money, highly reccommend.

The windows are indeed open, so I brought my own mosquito net with me... So it did not bother me, but i you do not have a mosquito net you could have a problem. Drink a lot of alcohol and they will not bite you :)

The staff were incredibly helpful, particularly the owner Dan who helped me when I got sick and had to go to hospital.

Very nice quiet location overlooking Mekong river. Good tv and wifi. Room clean and tidy.

The location is great - right across the street from the Mekong River and a couple of blocks from the main street. The staff is pleasant.

We were there in early May so it was very hot and we kept the air conditioning on most of the time. This meant we couldn't open the window shades because there was no glass. Therefore the room stays very dark. A bigger issue was the mosquitoes. They could come in through the walls / vents in the room so we could not keep them out. Since there was no mosquito net we got bit quite a lot. This may not be an issue at other times of the year.

En plein coeur de Luang Prabang, en bordure du Mekong situation geographique ideale. Personnel tres agreable et tres arrangeant.

Die Lage direkt am Mekong ist sehr schoen. Den Balkon im 1.Stock kann man gut geniessen. Fruehstueck wird auf der eigenen Terrasse am Mekongufer serviert.

Ausser Wasser konnte man keine Getraenke im Muonglao Riverside kaufen. Ist aber kein Problem, denn man kann es in benachbarten Shops gut kaufen.

Das Hotel lag an der strasse und war deshalb laut.

Beliggenhed var god. Morgen maden som var med I prisen, var faktisk fin, da vi selv kunne vælge og de klaret det hele på stedet (udenfor v/ floden). Close to old City, good breakfast.

De fortalte, at de ikke kunne tag Visa, da jeg sagde, at det stod der på nettet, kunne de godt! Seng hård og meget meget, lille toilet! Vær opmærksom på, at der er en meget stejl stige/trappe op til 1.Sal, hvor værelset er.

นอนสองคืน คืนแรกเครื่องปรับอากาศไม่ทำงาน แจ้งก็มีช่างมาซ่อมให้ทันที ดีมาก แต่แอร์ไม่เย็นเลย วันที่สอง แอร์เสียอีก พนักงานจึงเปลี่ยนห้องให้ใหม่ แอร์ไม่เย็นเหมือนกันหมดทั้งสองห้อง ดีที่อากาศไม่ร้อนมาก ถ้าเป็นเดือนเมษาคงแย่เลย

Personeel was vriendelijk. Wassen van kleren erg goedkoop. Kamer schoon. Terras voor het ontbijt erg ok uitzicht op de mekong rivier.

Was geen koelkast aanwezig wat met deze temperatuur niet overbodig is. Stond in de lobby wel een koelkast die je kon gebruiken.

Leuke maar kleine kamers. Tijdens ons verblijf was er geen ontbijt, aangezien het toch op onze voucher stond, heeft men dadelijk initiatief genomen en mochten we in een naburig pension gaan ontbijten.

蛮漂亮的河边的小别墅，房间布置别致舒适，还有临河的阳台，钥匙都很有爱，员工也相当热情

Tel que décrit Près des rues animées mais juste assez éloigné pour dormir au calme

Isolation un peu déficiente dans les chambres côté rue donc air conditionné ne refroidit pas autant qu'il pourrait

Muonglao Riverside is a great valeu for money! It has only 6 rooms, but we had a small balcony facing the river, and it was so peaceful that we didn't want to leave it! Comfy bed, air-con and hot shower also available and working. It was just two blocks away from the main street, but close to the pier, so if your coming by boat, it is a short walk. There was no breakfast included (the don't have a restaurant), but is just a few minutes walking to any caffé in town.

Buen precio y habitaciones todo lo bien que pueden ofrecer. Es una autentica casa familiar. Ideal para unos pocos dias.

El servicio de desayuno no lo ofrecen ellos: tienen contratado el servicio en un restaurante cercano. Como en el resto de la ciudad, a las 22,30 no se puede hacer mas.

The staff was kind and helpful, the place was well situated and the hotel is great.

Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, great location. Useful having tea and coffee available in reception at all times.

Noisy construction next door. Beware of this in general in Luang Prabang.
