Great staff Rooms design
The staff did everything to make your stay amazing and were very genuine people that cared!!! The hotel is only 3 years old and is very tastefully done. Would recommend it to anyone.
Excellent staff, Clean & well maintained accommodations.
Lovely spot by the river, with a view of the mountains from our room. Staff could not be more helpful. Lovely décor. The pool is small but came in really handy for our 6 year old.
It is a bit of a way out of town but you can walk to town in about 20 minutes and there are free shuttle buses from the resort.
We came to Luang Prabang from Vietnam and we thought that amiability and kindness of people was something normal, but it was not the case for Laos. In all Laos I have not seen people as nice as those in this hotel. We stayed in the bungalow and the place was great. You can stay and relax by the river or at the pool. They were so kind that they helped us participate at the alms giving ceremony, preparing the rice for us. Monks from two temples are just walking in front of the hotel.
We had a rented car, so for us the distance to the city center did not matter. On the map, might look that the hotel is not in the heart of the city and some people might consider it a problem. Don`t you worry, they have a shuttle that goes to the city center, but you can easily take the bike. By bike the route is shorter because you go by a closer bridge opened only to moto and bikes. In 10 minutes you`ll be in the center. And the city is nice to be explored by bike. Can`t think of something negative about this hotel.
Stayed for a couple of nights simply because of the pool. The service here has to been seen to believed . The staff are the some off the best I've come across .Rooms are lovely. Restaurant not expensive . Breakfast was a good selection for the western traveler. Didn't use the bikes but they are free to use and look in excellent condition. When we found a place close to the night market they drove us there. Defiantly worth staying at boutique for some portion if not all for your trip to Luang Prabang.
Was a bit far from town.
On arrival in the soaring heat, we were taken to a cool lounge and offered a cold lemon tea and wet towels while they checked us in. Chose this hotel for a pool but rarely used it ( very nice small pool) because the gardens had a couple of shady pavillions with sleep mats and a selection of books and overlooked the river. Can't fault the hotel at all if you want to stay away fro the main town. Very easy to get to with their free shuttle or cheap tuk tuks
Nothing. Came back when we had a spare night
Loved the location, by the river with a stunning garden. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The bungalows are great as was the food. Loved it...
Wifi was a bit dodgy every now and then. Pillows were too hard, trivial complaint but good pillows are nice and make for a restful sleep.
Everything was very professionally done , nothing was any trouble.
Beautiful room, great breakfast, good location. Wonderful friendly staff. Helpful minibus into Luang Prabang but easily walkable. Quiet and peaceful.
Internet didn't reach the room but was fine in the dining area. Needed to cross the old wooden bridge into town but minibus could be taken to save the walk. All over a wonderful place to stay.
beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent service
We had an amazing stay here - rooms are beautiful, grounds are lovely, food is nice, and Kham San (the manager) was brilliant.
Wifi wasn't great, but not a big deal
Free bicycles Beautiful staff Good location
Everything was awesome
location is little far from main street, BUT you can relax more. Hotel lends bycicle for free, so we borrow everyday. they also have subtle to main street, it was really convenient! staffs are so friendly and nice. this place made our vacation perfectly!
My Dream has a lovely tropical garden all around it in which to wander and relax. The dining area looks over the beautiful pool and the food here is very good. The staff are so attentive and the manager, Somnuek, is onto your every need. While the location is over the river from the main town, the hotel has regular free shuttles during the day or the tuk-tuk ride is cheap and fun. We loved our stay and would go back again if we have the opportunity. Oh and they also have a free airport shuttle. So civilized!
Exceptional staff, simple rooms but beautifully done
the staff did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The location is a little out of the town, but easily walked, or take the free shuttle, or borrow one of the bikes. The location means that it is very quiet. The gardens lead down to the Nam Khan river, and have little pavilions where you can relax in the shade with a book and a drink.
very nice location, quiet, nice swimming pool, helpful staff.
We loved the pool, easy bicycle ride into town, and the friendly staff. After morning activities, it was well worth the location just outside the historic center of the city to be able to swim and lounge by the pool and gardens. Downtown B&Bs can't offer this option. At night we also appreciated the quick hotel shuttle into (and back from) the city. Lastly, the food at the hotel and laundry service is excellent.
We enjoyed everything.
The staff the rooms the garden all simply beautiful
great service the best laos food restaurant nice room amazing staff my wife got very sick and they all helped us to find a good pharmacy and doctor.
you might have a big spider in your room if you are in the bungalows (welcome to laos). so double check. the staff will come and kill it for you. the wifi is awfull.
We absolutely loved the My Dream resort. It is in a lovely quiet location on the other side of the river but is a short walk or ride to town. The staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant and breakfast are fab, the rooms are spotless, the pool area is lovely. We will return!!!
This is a lovely small sanctuary just across the river from town in LP. They offer free bikes and it's a 15 min ride into "town center". The room is clean with ample space. We loved the mosquito net (minimal in room if you don't open the balcony doors) and the very very comfortable bed. The corner room on the 1st floor had side views of the swimming pool from the bedroom and the bathroom (remember to close the window when you shower! :D). The only thing is that the water doesn't drain too well and the bathroom is a little dark at night. LP is a small town and everywhere is accessible by bike (remember to lock the bikes!!!). Tuktuk back from town costs ~30K (after some bargaining). We loved chilling in the pool and how it was just further out from town so it was quiet but near enough so we could go back for an afternoon dip! On a side note, it's around 170-200K to the Kuang Si waterfalls (2 person, wait around 2-3 hours or so, bargain with the drivers around town). Evening cooking class at Tarmarind (the school is a 15-20 min tuktuk ride away) is around 220K/pax, leaves the restaurant at 4:30 and back at 8 - good food and experience! Thank you so much to the Resort staff for making our stay a good to wonderful stay!
Our room had an outdoor balcony which was absolutely wonderful to chill/read while watching sunset - but we were giant targets for mosquitoes! If only they had mosquito incense spirals/sticks it would be perfect! We also slightly disappointed that they didn't offer a Laotian breakfast option - but a short ride into town and food was available. The night pickup truck from town didn't have any signs and we missed it - the only saving grace was that the staff actually recognized us! Please consider a sign for the pickup van or the waiting staff
Natural and boutique
Quiet, serene space with beautiful rooms and balcony. Great pool to cool off during the hottest hours of the day. Really helpful staff that remembered my name whenever they saw me!
Wifi didn't always work. Only 3 shuttles to the main town per day and only 1 shuttle service from town back to the hotel at night, but they offer free bicycles to use
