The hotel is with perfect location but as per room and services very bad.Such a place is perfect needs a little renovation and this hotel will be the perfect in byblos
The location is amazing.
The rooms are basic but that's not the problem. The managing staff are the worst on the planet; they are disrespectful.
More than helpful staff. Great location. Near the old city and ruins.
Quite honestly, everything: The rooms were cute and gave us a unique experience of staying in the same place fishermen once did. The restaurant had great food, really cool dining rooms providing a preview of the past, and a lovely view over the harbor. As for the staff, they were the best!! When I got sick from a drink I'd had at a different restaurant in Byblos Miled, the manager, dropped everything in the middle of a crowded restaurant to drive my boyfriend to a pharmacy. He then kept checking up on me and took it upon himself to make sure the restaurant whose food got me sick was aware. Miled cares about his guests having a good time in Byblos/Lebanon in general, not just at Pepe's and is a great example of how service should be everywhere. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
The location is great at the old harbour of Byblos. The room has a nice terrace and it is conveniently furnished (except that there is no facility to hang your clothes).
No breakfast included.
The wonderful location in Byblos The incredible nice and efficient staff, that support everything we need Originality and authenticity of the spaces to live Restaurant space and quality of the food External spaces linked to the rooms
Absence of wifi in the room Less light and views from the room No breakfast possibilities
Very homy place to stay for few days in byblos for tourism. It's location is perfect for people who want to walk in the old city.
-location; -entrance pateo; -historical character; -cleanliness; -looks better in person than pictures
-no wifi in the room; -no breakfast;
everything was good generally .
not having breakfest included in the reservation
It's nice for a short stay. It's a walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Jbeil. It's a hut, so no minibar or lots of toiletries but it's very clean and safe with a nice porch.
Wifi is not available.
Lack of cleanliness. Literally no services. Overpriced for what you get. Poor sleep quality, the beds are just impossible to sleep on.
Beautiful, the harbour is lovely, the coastline is gorgeous. The suite we had was lovely, with it's own terrace, quiet and private. The food at Pepe's is great.
The staff are wonderful people and made every effort to accomadate us.You are paying for location which is wonderful.
overpriced for basic accomadations. The rooms are much smaller than pictures insinuate.
the place the confort, not standard hotel, very nice
we can here the noise from the next rooms
Surprised to find a very nice place tucked in a hill with a view of the ocean. Looks better than in the photos!
Somewhat costly. Hard to find parking.
the sealing of the room
The location near the harbor. The restaurant nearby especially the "Hacienda de Pepe". Feels like you are in your garden at home
Great location, right by the marina - you couldn't want for a better spot in Byblos. Rooms were small but cute and very secure. I'd definitely return here.
Slightly grumpy man at reception who couldn't find our reservation and seemed to blame us - even though it was their mistake...
We stayed for five lovely days at Pepe Abed's- still run with care by Pepe's son and enjoyed every minute. The room was small but clean, quiet and perfectly located. We had everything we needed and felt part of a family. Highly recommended.
Byblos fishing club is absolutely the best place to stay in Byblos. We were a group of 7 friends travelling from London to Lebanon for our friends wedding in mid June. I accidentally reserved for the wrong week and Miled waited up till 12 at night, when he realised my error he was quick to help me out and didn't apply any charges. We loved it so much we booked for an extra night and Miled moved the existing bookings around so that we could stay in the same rooms. Miled and Rania couldn't have been more wonderful and we are already planning our next trip!
Great location, within a few minutes walk to everything in Old Byblos. Great view of the old harbour.
The room is small but OK for 1 person. The room I was in wasn't really quiet. 2 rooms side by side mean you (and your neighbours) have to be very quiet.
Rooms relatively simple, small and dark.
the place is charming with its small terraces
the drain flies covering the walls!
Excellent conditions, clean and tidy with very good staff! We are delighted with particular attitude xtremely our gracious host Mr. Miled, without him surely our vacation would not be so interesting and exciting. Thank you Miled and many thanks to all entire staff of the Byblos Fishing Club Guesthouse. You are great :-)
