Hotel Cavalier  

Location is very central, only 10 seconds away from Hamra Street. It feels like a nice, small business hotel in Paris... Modern facilities. Breakfast is good and the new executive suite rooms and bathrooms look really nice. I don't know about the older rooms.

The staff isn't very helpful and it might little bit loud as the hotel is very central and there are some bars right nearby.

Hotel Cavalier was conveniently located to explore the city. The room was large and comfortable with a balcony. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location Highly freindly staff Clean

A/C was not working. They told me that it will take them one week to fix all A/C in the hotel. I was mad.... I had to leave for another hotel. They were really nice with me and made a very small discount on my stay just in return to this broken A/C. The reason for being angry is that A/C was broken some time back and they did not announce on Booking or even for me as a guest when I arrived.

Excellent location, very good staff, well maintained hotel

Poor sound proofing between rooms. Restaurant was not very adventurous.

I stayed only for a night but everything was perfect. Staff was very nice, room very clean and relatively large, location perfect, in the very centre of happenings. And all that for a very nice price. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location means also loud voices coming from hamra streets by night. The rooms arent soundproof. night staff made us a "scene" trying to keep our car keys with them to be able to move it from near by the hotel though many areas are free public parking by night. We ended with our key with us. since our car was in a legal public free parking space. The room air condition didnt work properly. Though it was winter it was also hot in the room. We couldnt open the balcony door to get fresh air becoz of the noise and the air coming from the ac was a million degree!!! We sweated all night long. the breakfast even though with a big variety wasnt that fresh. Especially the viennoiseries cakes and croissant. But it was ok. And the waiters during breakfast were speaking loud about personal stuff!! We needed a calm time for having our coffee but we ended up listening to their problems with the health sector in lebanon!!

Hamra is a good location if you are staying in Beirut. It is a 15-minute walk to the ocean and restaurants by the see.

Internet access was sort of slow, besides a new wi-fi code had to be generated every 24 hours, which can be a bother.

I had a three-night stay over New Year. A good value business hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception can book organised trips around Beirut or farther afield.

Room Size, Clean, Staff

Price is high

Location was close to Hamra street , however the road you stay on was surprisingly quiet. There will always be car horns in Beirut... All staff were friendly and helpful. Good hearty breakfast included Free wifi (as it should be but many hotels charge) Our room was clean modern and spacious.

Staff were great and helpfull....the only did pointing is the mattress and the room noise from the toilet . Mattress very soft it seems old and you that your back will touch the bed structure .

The location was good,

Wanted to have a bath the second night so run the bath only to find that the water was yellow, so i changed my mind.the lobby area very small and dark no one was around at the bar area.
