the beach was nice

didn't like the room service since we asked for it twice during out 2 night stay and they never came!

The reception staff were simply phenomenal: helpful, friendly, quick acting, resourceful... you name it. All the while never failing to keep a shining smile, no matter what they were doing and no matter how demanding the guests were. The breakfast menu was one of the richest we have had, and certainly the most delicious. The beach and pools at Edde Sands are simply unbeatable. All in all, the hotel is in no way cheap, but it certainly provides what you paid for, and exceeds it at times.

The staff that we did not have to deal with on a regular basis (guards, shuttle drivers..etc), ironically, were beyond "unfriendly". Their behavior can easily be categorized as being rude. They never responded to greetings, never responded to "thank you's", never even smiled, and never provided any help. One guard, upon our first entry to the hotel, almost yelled at us for "parking in the wrong place" (we did not park in the wrong place, it turned out. He was simply misinformed). The guards at the beach and pool facilities were no icons of friendliness either. They obviously mistake their job for that of investigative agents, repeatedly asking for our entrance tickets in such suspicious ways it looked like an interrogation at times. For such fees that the hotel charges, it would be the minimum expectation that everybody, from doorman to guard to receptionist, adheres to the same standards of excellence in service. There should not be "good guys" and "bad guys" at such a resort. It is simply a shame that this was the case.

The restaurant on the rooftop is very romantic for dinner. The old souk is so near and one can have a walk aroud the hotel. Breakfast is delicious.

I loved that there is free internet anywhere in the hotel including rooms and loved the shuttle service which takes us to the beach and the Edde Yard (restaurant area) any and as many times we wanted. Loved the people at the reception area they were very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. The room service are very fast on delivery, the tv has wide range of channels. Access to the beach and pools is free. One really good thing is that the hotel is 3 minutes walking from a Supermarket, and the highway so it was easy to find public transportation which takes you directly to shopping malls and Beirut.

The one thing I didn't like is the hotel from outside. When we first arrived we felt definitly not this one. It looks old and has old houses surrounding it and some construction the outside is certainly not reflective of the inside. Also the hotel is on a street outside the resort area although very close but you feel like you booked outside and going inside for us it wasn't a problem as there was shuttle it was easy. One more thing and not particularly on the hotel is that you may find a bunch of crabs on the beach sand it freaked us out at the beginning but during the summer if there are alot of people you will not notice. We went early october and there were not much people so early morning we saw alot but during the day they disappeared as it was becoming a bit crowded.

Very nice and helpful staff! Price of the room was well studied since it included two days of entrance to the resort by taking one night at the hotel.

first night, there was a smell (gasoline) in our room, they did not have any extra rooms (fully booked), they should have at least 1 room for emergencies. we slept with our kids & maid, 5 on 1 queen bed & the floor!!! we booked in the hotel, or so we thought, to find out that the hotel is outside the resort & need to walk or drive to the resort!!!

Everything was perfect and amazing, each and every person do well know his duties and service that he should provide to the clients of Edde Sands.this the next year I am staying there and I will every year,i am Lebanese work in Iraq and enjoy my summer vacation in my country of Origin, and the best time I spend is at Edde Sands, The owner of this place they did not miss anything unless they thought about it, to make each and every person stay is great and perfect,

The place is great as for the le Hotel where we stayed lovely and great reception nice and very clean room sea view that is marvelous comfort as bed and quality of sheets fresh smell good everything you may need is there. The shuttle bus to the beach is always available upon request 3 minutes far from the beach and lovely pools, I recommend each one to try this resort that is completely perfect.

We booked a Junior " Suite " it turned out to be just a bigger room, The word "Suite" is misleading.

Beautiful setting, fantastic breakfast, gorgeous views, relaxing atmosphere.

Great value for money. Free shuttle to the resort without waiting, free car parking, free huge breakfast, stunning views and very, very friendly staff. Close to all points of interests, old town of Byblos, port etc. Overall a great experience. But the best is the quality of the food both in the hotel and at the resort. Second to none. Our second time there within the last two months and surely not the last time.

The Hotel has an amazing staff, and very close to Edde Resort and the Old City .

what I didn't like is the Noise that we can hear from other rooms (e.g: babies crying ) , Doors must be made in a way to make our stay calm and comfortable .

Lo mejor el acceso incluido a la zona del Spa Resort junto a la playa con piscinas y zona ocio. Ambiente muy bueno (europeo) con numerosos restaurantes, piscinas, deportes acuaticos, spa, etc

Staff was very friendly. Even sent some shirts we forgot all the way to Beirut without any cost. The resort is great and next time I will come around June where the season has picked up.

The staff was helpful and the hotels location was near the old city of Byblos. You can use all the resorts facilities which is about 300m away from the hotels location. They can provide you with a shuttle bus or a taxi to move back and forth to the beach or swimming pools but its nothing scheduled and i used it only once.

As a hotel resident you dont pay to enter in the resorts facilities (where ALL the facilities are). But , everything is just too expensive there... If you buy something to drink or eat prepare yourself to pay almost double the regular price. The pools and the beach are most of the time crowded due to the reason that is a very upscale hotel and resort and everybody goes there . You will have to go early to take a seat close to the pool or the beach.

Attention, le fait de passer par booking , lhotel vous conserve un traitement desagreable, et aucune possibilite sur place de modifier votre reservation! Il sagit dun confort de 2 etoiles et sans plus !! L hotel est loin de la station balneaire, dans une rue encombree, et dont l'accés a l hotel et au parking est trop difficile!

La musique est extrêmement forte jusqu'à tard dans la nuit (3 heures du matin) puis les travaux commencent tôt le matin (juste en face de l'hôtel). Conclusion, il est juste impossible de dormir. Le resort est magnifique mais l'hôtel n'est pas du tout à la hauteur du resort. Mauvais rapport qualité prix.
