staff was excellent. rooms are clean and quiet. excellent location. value for money.

the best among hotel staff is the porter named Maher. Breakfast is poor.

The position (near the biel exibithion ground was the reason I choose the hotel) the good breakfast buffet ( a super fresh orange juice!)

Internet free only on the 5th floor restaurant, no lobby, the hotel is in an area closed by military due to vicinity to parliament, so get a taxi can be botherdsome and people can not come to pick you at hotel, but a nearby corner on the road.

I like the location of the hotel, it just few steps away from all the restaurants and souks in Downtown.

It is disappointing to stay in such a nice hotel, to find that the quality of food is not that great. I just hope they try to improve it.

Old TV's need replacements, and more channels.

Small hotel, in a prime location in the beautifully renovated "Downtown Beirut". Best restaurants, bars, shops and venues in walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable and all the necessary amenities are provided.

Had to pay for Internet - should not happen in 2012 in a hotel of this class. The windows are not very well isolated, what let's noise from outside penetrate and disturb your sleep. Don't forget that Beirut can party till really late (or should I say early??) what brings noise with it.

Awkward WiFi system requiring one to purchase expensive cards that allowed only one device onto the network.

Great location in the heart of Lebanon. Walking distance to all the central sights as well as to Gemayze, Achrafiye, and a short taxi ride to Hamra. A nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace with very good service.

A bit expensive for Beirut. Many less expensive options in Hamra. But if you want to be in Solidere then it is a great option and a good price.

Etoile Suites is the perfect hotel if you want to visit Beirut, it is located in a very descent and safe area and it is in the middle of the city so it is close to everything in Beirut. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Everything was good

The location is the best in Beirut, in the renovated Downtown part of the city, with French style stone built buildings with gate balconies, all the best bars, cafes, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. The staff were excellent and very helpful, the service good and the rooms are of a high standard. The Rooftop terrace bar has excellent staff and great views. Breakfast was generous (also on rooftop terrace), very delicious and more than enough to fill ones appetite. The staff at the rooftop terrace are very polite and friendly, giving information about the city etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beirut and I would stay there again.

The hotel does not have a large reception area but this did not bother me.

The soundproofing is not very good and you can hear your neighbors in the next rooms.

Internet was not available in the room that night (cards sold out) and the rooms are not suitable for business travelers (no desk). Unfortunately there is no lobby downstairs, just a roof top restaurant

Cold coffee, jacuzzi didn't work nor did the safe

The place is in the middle of Solidier (Downtown) and close to plenty of Restaurants, Shops, City Center, Bars and Clubs. It is also safe to let your young children to enjoy the Solidier area with their moms or maids. Spacious room with a separate big living room and a big bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi.

- The transportation car from and to the airport was not that good for such hotel. - Room A/C was not that good and took long time to cool the area. - Free internet is only available in the bar/restaurant on the 5th floor.

Location was good, staff friendly and rooms spacious. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite but I think they must have upgraded us as the room was huge - one corner of the building. We never made it up to the 5th floor for breakfast, so can't comment on the food but did visit in the afternoon for drinks. Nice views across towards Parliament.

They forgot our wakeup call for early flight home but not a disaster!

Excellent hotel, with friendly service, in the centre (downtown) of Beirut.

The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help you. It made our stay much more enjoyable as we were able to organise everything from the hotel and we knew that it would be organised well.
