Hotel is near the museum in a quiet part of town , but not near much else of interest for a tourist. It was a short walk (1km) to downtown, which was quite pleasant when not raining. |

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Quiet location. Helpful reception staff except one with a bit of an attitude problem! All spoke good English. Location is good for the museum but it's a long walk to other places. The business centre is tatty and the computers are too close together for any privacy so it's better if you have your own laptop you can use in your room. |

Location was very convenient for Rue Monot and Beirut nightlife. As I was travelling to Beirut to celebrate New Year I was pleased that staff did not hassle me to clean my room on New Years Day! The hotel did seem a bit "worn". A fresh lick of paint and some new furniture would have been nice. The TV reception in my room was not very good. |

Location. This Hotel is perfect and handy if you want to keep walking around downtown and pubs area. Convenient and close to french embassy and museum. Breakfast was also good and as expected. Some of the hotel staff provide outstanding service, others average instead. Room is a bit small. especially Shower. |

The beds were my favorite part honestly, they were extremely comfortable... the staff is very welcoming and accommodating... Being that it was a little hard to find, i found trouble describing it's location to taxis. I also would have liked if they had complementary water bottles in the room. The free breakfast could have been better presented. |

Location of the hotel and friendliness of one staff member. Convenience store and Japanese restaurant offered us good options of food/drink for a particular day when we were sick. The towels offered by the hotel were stained, dirty, had holes and were so thin you could see through. With the exception of one person, all the staff members were exceptionally unfriendly (sometimes rude), unhelpful and completely unaware that they were there to serve the guests and not to chat among each other. Total lack of staff supervision and extremely poor management. |

It is not far from the down town. Its in a nice area. Breakfast was good. Staff pleasant. Yes, Our flight did not fly from Athens due to weather conditions and even though we sent a mail, called and had our friend who was already there inform reception that we will arrive one day late our room were cancelled. When we arrived we got a room that did not match the criteria that we booked through booking.However, we did get a better room the next day and were given a free dinner. |

The staff was very nice, they answered our every request with patience and a smile. They gave us directions and advice, gladly representing their city. The food was very good, a good variety of food for breakfast and very tasty dinner. The door in the shower was broken and even though the room was cleaned every day nobody cared to fix it the whole time we were there. The rooms are different, some are very good, some are so-so. |

The hotel was good, sushi bar in the hotel is nice, people in the hotel are ok. taxi drivers cannot find the hotel -golden Tulip nobody knows - you have to say Hotel de Ville but it is for them to hard to find as well. Electricity falling off always when I entered the room and I needed to put brakers back |
