We had a package in the hotel to have our wedding there, where to start with negatives?!!! -Hotel was so old -Furniture was in a SAD condition! full of dirty spots (chairs and Sofa) -Towels were SUPER OLD and dirty and full of rust spots! -This is a 4* hotel that should NOT be rated this way! It should be fairly rated as 3* -We were given in the Wedding Package, a regular small room and when we asked for an upgrade to the suite we were told that there is no availability while the 5 suite rooms that the hotel has were all available online! -We were promised to get a Room service right after the wedding starts and before it ends to make sure that the room is clean and made up nicely for the bride and groom, and guess what! this did not happen!! we went back after the wedding to the room to find out that no one cleaned up the room!!!!! -And THE WORST OF ALL, in the Wedding Package we were given a wedding cake, 3 months before the wedding my bride sat with the chef and showed him 13 different pictures to choose the easiest for him to make, he chose the one he promised to make JUST like the picture, and on top this the chef asked the bride to provide with the cake accessories instead of getting it himself and charge extra if needed, and the WORST OF THE WORST is that the cake was the ugliest wedding cake can ever be served and it has NOTHING to do with the picture that the chef promised! he could have said i cannot make it and we could have arranged for something different or at least we could have asked for an easier cake to make but to ruin our wedding photos with that UGLY cake, this is major!!! -Bottom line, NEVER EVER THINK OF THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE PLANNING A WEDDING, and DO NOT stay in this hotel if you are looking for a 4* standards and if you are looking for cleanliness!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel is so old Dirty furniture Old and dirty towels NEVER EVER THINK OF HOSTING A WEDDING IN THIS HOTEL!
Clean, staff were great
Tooo many dogs barking close to hotel and no soundproof windows at that side of the hotel.. And next room had loud music till I called the staff at 5:10 am. Was a sleepless night
Staff are great , ready to assist , prompt action when required.location was good as per my needs
I Don't recommend lower floor (dogs' bark were very annoying ) other than that it was great .
Swimming pool
I asked for extand a few days with the same rate but they asking for double price.
The complimentary breakfast was outstanding! The location of the hotel was very strategic! The staff were very polite and accommodating! I will come again!
At times it was hard to connect with the internet. But in Lebanon, this is expected.
The hotel is in a good position to reach the airport.
The last night I stayed in this hotel there was a party in the swimming pool area. My window was looking on the pool and obviously there was music (sometime unacceptably loud) and noise until late.
The room was so dierty and the water in the bathroom not working properly
Everything. I dont use any hotel except Tamar Rotana since you can find everything around you. Gasoline station, city center, restuarants, pharmacy, etc...
Dust. The only thing they dont clean the rooms good, you can find many dust all over the place. Because they clean the room in a couple of minutes. And regarding the furniture they have to change everything i guess. Thats my opinion
The staff is amazing. Price is very competitive
Internet is very expensive and slow
Shutting the door in my face when checking out because I was checking out at 12:30 pm and not before 12 bearing in mind that the room was paid in advance moreover they had to return me money. So imagine yourself trying to open the door of your room to take your belongings unsuccessfully. The front desk officer was smiling because she guessed the reason why I was upset. Her manager claimed that this is the system (as if the system programmed itself and works by itself). The whole experience was outrageous specially that 3 months before I checked out from the same hotel at the same time and may be later. And if it is Rotana's policy, then why in Rotana Khalidiya Abu Dhabi and Rotana Al Ain I checked out at 1:00 and even 2:00 pm several times?? In the hotels industry the client is called guest, so imagine how Rotana treats its guests.
My experience in Tamar Rotana Hotel was surprising. I was expecting much less: - The staff is extremely friendly and caring. - The room was clean, spacious and well equipped with the necessary hotel products. - The open buffet breakfast was delicious, had a lot of variety from cereals,to cheese, to fresh fruits... that could please anyone. The hotel could be certainly rated as a 5 stars hotel if it was located in the heart of Beirut.
None
Natalie from the front desk was very attentive and extremely helpful.
Classy witty cheerful staff in all levels, complimentary coffee making kit in the room, generous bathroom supplies, very high quality mattresses and pillows, very quiet room, secure car parking, business center, meeting areas, easy to get to the airport.
Internet access at an additional charge (although to be fair, the excellent connection quality justifies it!)
I always stay at this hotel when in Beirut. It's my home in Beirut. I like the staff, the comfort and space of the room too. Good value for money.
Nothing.
the rooms are ok, the gym is fine, small bath rooms but ok, the staff are friendly.
every thing is hidden extra charge , parking two different fees, internet, breakfast, and the rate exchange, they will quote you with dollar then they change it back and forth to Lebanese Lira, not worth the money, every thing you need to bargain
