The Staff were brilliant, immediately put us at ease about being in Baalbek (Brit Govt advised against going!) Staff organised guide (Ali) for visiting Temples. Breakfast was great
Not fault of Hotel but road nearby seemed to be used as car racing drag at night! Lots of car horns & screeching tyres
1- We reached the hotel after long trip and there was no water in the washrooms, the staff kept on promising that the water will come back in 2 minutes, but it took few hours. 2- The water smell bad and has a dark color. 3- Smelly towels. 4- The rooms smells awful, it smell as if the drainage system is blocked! 5- The room was very small, and has no design, it feels that someone just picked any furniture and any blankets with any colors, any tv screen with whatever cables hanging around, just anything with anything! 6- The safe box was not working, and when I checked with the reception, they said that all the safes in the hotel are not working and there is nothing they can do about it! so we had to carry our valuable belongings wherever we go!! 7- The phone cable had no clip, it was just pushed to the wall, so it kept on disconnecting while using the phone. 8- There was bees flying inside the lobby area, and my 2 years old child got stung in the hand, which was extremely bad. The hotel staff did not apologize or even show any reaction!!! 9- The neighborhood didn't seem safe at all from the evening onward, as lots of young guys were rooming and playing with their cars, causing noise and problems around. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.
The location Helpful staff Friendly staff Good sleep
Poor electricity and water but it is the whole Lebanon problem Poor air conditioning Untrained room service staff I mean the cleaning staff no facilities in the hotel only fair restaurant
+Wifi +AC +Location +Service +Food in the night came to us +Great room service
Water was not hot during the first night. But it was quickly fixed so that was good.
I cant tell.
1- breakfast is poor. 2- reception staff is bad. 3-we have reserved an apartment with two rooms two beds each and we got one room with 4 beds. so the maid and the baby slept with us! 4-the electricity is down every couple of hours and every time you have to turn the AC on. so we waked up in the night three times to turn it on !! but the worst thing was: the most important thing in hotels is the crew. We had a problem with them and they shouted on us and cursed god and fired us from the hotel !!! whatever the reason is, I believe they have to be good with us. we are the clients. then we discovered it is a family business and the reception guy is the son of the owner, so he didn't care. after that the father came and apologized and made it up for us.... this was a shame.
Although it's not very near to Baalbek Temple but its service is very good!
