The hotel and its history,people of reception very welcoming,big nice room,huge king size bed,nice park,free internet. The location,Chtoura, no possibility of european breakfast,very expensive taxi booking (to beyrouth 70 dollars don't pay more than 50 dollars or take the bus on the road 2 dollars)

One night at Massabki Hotel lacks all the factors for any guest to feel safe and comfort, the only thing I can evaluate it good was the location, otherwise hotel service was poor, starting from the checking in as no one might help or even ask if you need help to carry your Lugguage, no hot water, very very poor Breakfast, plus and the major reason not to reserve again in this Hotel is that hotel rate they withdrawed twice and when I asked about that the staff let you feel that you are stupid and what you are talking about !!!! Now in the process to claim my money back !!!!! Am Lebanese and am sorry for such Hotel in Lebanon !!! Thank you Booking.com for the chance to share my feedback. Regards,

Very charming hotel. It is an old building, but well maintained. The rooms are very well fitted. The bed was huge, all toiletries you might need available. Hand painted tea cups. Charming balcony overlooking gardens and the river. The service during dinner was excellent and the food good, even though the hotel was busy hosting a wedding. We had dinner by the river with the swans and ducks hovering, hoping for scraps. It's the perfect weekend getaway. Only thing I can criticise is the attentiveness of the staff at the front desk. It might've been because they were short staffed, but when we arrived, no one offered to help us with our bags or show us to our room. But it didn't really bother us.
