Comfortable bed Amazing view
The mall and Away from Beirut traffic
The furniture was old
The bed is very comfortable, room is big (we got upgraded to executive room), flexible on late check-out, good variety of food at break-fast, calm atmosphere, bathroom is nice and clean.
Limited TV channels, and it takes time to swap from one channel to the other. Also room service entered the room in the morning without knocking, but I will assume this is an accident since we hadn't put the "do not disturb" sign. Overall we had a pretty decent and relaxing experience.
Hotel seemed to be half closed with many floors in darkness and restaurants not always open. I could not connect to internet in my room (wifi or fixed line!); I asked for support and noone came for over 30 mins. Over the next hour two people tried to fix the problem to no avail. On top of wasting my time, I was still charged for an hour of internet! Room service was poor; I poured half a glass of oil off my food which was obviously unappetising! As I found the level of service and English spoken by staff to be poor generally, I didn't even bother trying to speak to anyone about this. This hotel is not up to Hilton standards.
