Coffee in breakfast needs to be improved . The terrace is totally neglected, a real pity, as you should least of all clean it well, have few chairs and couple of tables up there it would be very attractive especially since you can get quite a good view of the sea.
Part of the facility is newly refurbished, the enterance is quite clean and over all; kind of immaculately shining :-), added to that we stayed in one of those newly refurbished rooms, over all quite the new and clean look and feel. We also had a great experiance with the receptionist May, she goes out of her way to make ones stay even better helped us tremendously with our booking we needed to adjust arrival date she helped us there too and threw out our stay she remained friendly and very helpful, I needed few small fixing in room curtain needed adjustment few light bulb needed replacement, upon our request maintenance where very prompt about it and did what they could, especial thanks to Mr Ahmad from maintenance. We looked around in Beirute during our earlier visit few weeks earlier, we visited few four star hotels looked at there rooms and all trying to decide where to stay in our forthcoming visite frankly for the price midtown was offering nothing came close, especially in mater of cleaneness. Breakfast was also quite good four five main course options, regular drinks included, milk with cornflex too and around three four sweet dishes too. Location is near many fast food resturans at Bliss street and around it is near to the AUB so all student facility around there is a big grocery store near by, and if you are staying there do try the small corner backery, Abdul algazez Sfiha (Arabic Pizza) Deliciously Superb Sfiha, very nearby also just three blocks away is the all time famous Hamra street of Beirute with all the brand name shopping and few good restaurants cafes and all what Beirute has to offer of the night life too with its bars and clubs.
