I liked the most the location, and the employees are helpful.
I didn't like the breakfast which is poor, and also the cleanliness. I think it can be better but maybe it is like this because of the renovation.
The Monroe before the restoration works.
The client must not feel the restoration works. Breakfast room temperature below zero: my friends left beirut sick.
the staff were not welcoming the room and toilet are not clean while reservation on booking.com i asked for one bed . the room contain 2 small bed !!

it was under construction so we couldn't use any facilities and they don't have laundry service not even iron
Great and safe location
In today's age, for such a high end hotel to not have WIFI in rooms is some what puzzling. The only internet connection is through Ethernet for your laptop ( bring your own cord!). The location of the ethernet outlet is by the bed, so forget about putting your laptop on the desk. And im not sure how well that worked WIFI is only in the main lobby by the reception desk and it is very spotty.. one second it is work, the next second it is not working, and you have to constantly get "tickets" from the reception desk to "try" to log into the wifi. Since many people stay in touch with friends and family while traveling through cellphones ( apps, etc) or by computer.. it was very unfortunate that this hotel was very poor when it came to 21 century communications
The room wasn't clean enough especially the bathroom
1-The hotel was under renovation and this was not clear when we book. 2-room smell bad and we have to change it, 3-Air condition does not work properly and maintenance had to come twice to fix it, 4-towels although clean, had grey color as it is very old 5-bed sheets are very old and toner in certain places. 6-swimming pool was closed. 7-breakfast was adequate but there was few varieties of every thing. We had to order eggs and cheese
Hotel need a renew
No wifi, Ac is not good, rooms are very old, no pool

Staff is totally careless.Room equipment are very old.Slippers were given only by request. No bathrobeNo iron in whole hotel!! No wi-fi in the room. very very poor breakfast. This hotel can be rated only like 3 stars
We are honeymooners and asked for king size bed while booking, whereas what we were offered was 2 connected beds. Absolutely terrible and uncomfortable. Staff are not friendly but aggressive. Parking is not available for residents free of charge.
Unfortunately the whole family was very much disappointed from the facilities of Monroe Hotel. There was no mattress for our two month old baby, no kettle to boil water in the whole hotel, no adaptor for our mobiles, no WiFi, no satellite to watch mundial football games and finally the extra bed was a useless combed that no one could sleep on it. I have to say that after all the complains we made, they didn't charge us the extra bed witch costs $55 per night... Sorry to say that but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
No wifi or iron board/ iron in rooms
