Hotel is in a good position. It is clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast buffet is varied
To be improved: Internet in rooms only wired (no wifi).
No wifi internet
The Location of the hotel is amazing.5Min walking distance to downtown.2 min to Zaytuna bay and corniche road.
Staff is totally careless.Room equipment are very old.Slippers were given only by request. No bathrobeNo iron in whole hotel!! No wi-fi in the room. very very poor breakfast. This hotel can be rated only like 3 stars
We are honeymooners and asked for king size bed while booking, whereas what we were offered was 2 connected beds. Absolutely terrible and uncomfortable. Staff are not friendly but aggressive. Parking is not available for residents free of charge.
Unfortunately the whole family was very much disappointed from the facilities of Monroe Hotel. There was no mattress for our two month old baby, no kettle to boil water in the whole hotel, no adaptor for our mobiles, no WiFi, no satellite to watch mundial football games and finally the extra bed was a useless combed that no one could sleep on it. I have to say that after all the complains we made, they didn't charge us the extra bed witch costs $55 per night... Sorry to say that but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
No wifi or iron board/ iron in rooms
I like the location as it is near the downtown and shopping centre.
Air conditioning in the room very noisy and not much effective. Rooms very small. Chair very uncomfortable and placed right at the corner with no armrests. Staff are nowhere to be found to order a drink at the lobby. No wifi in rooms. Rooms not well furnished and designed in general. Toilets had very little toilet paper when checked in.
there was mold growing in the shower. the hotel used to be very good three years ago but they seem to have forgotten about it. dirty chairs in restaurant. no wifi. the aircon is very loud I turned it off at night but the location was good.
The staff were welcoming and the hotel is very clean and neat
No wifi in the rooms!!! I had a headache, and the hotel couldn't manage to get me panadol!!!
no wireless internet in the room no room service after 11:00 no AC in the rooms!!!!
Excellent location, helpful staff
Miserable internet, ran down bathroom, no gym, poor "business centre"
Location is good as its near downtown but many other better hotels can be an alternative
No wifi in rooms Hotel did not notify us that construction work was conducted in the floors Very poor breakfast, no buffet and the ambiance is so sad Taxi was overcharged from airport to hotel (10min drive for 40$) and hotel did not notify in prior about it Room service is very poor Hotel very old Services of hotel far less than a 4 star rating compared to other hotels in Beirut I will not return to this hotel and do not recommend it to friends
rooms are very old and in very bad shape need renovation badly
location, night club in the hotel
room cleanliness breakfast !!!! very low elevator speed
The location is perfect
The whole hotel needs to be renovated ,rooms r small and bathrooms r not up to the standard of 4 stars ,towels were old and not clean ,furniture of the rooms were so cheap and nothing special at all . No tea trays in the rooms and no bathrobes although it is written in the specification of the room . Over and above they forgot our wake up call to leave at 5.00am thanks god that we didn't depend on them . Food was a catastrophy . Finally we won't repeat it again it is not up to the standard
Services are mediocre
I am not sure that I liked.
Way too expensive for what it is. Old, not that clean, room service is expensive, the location could be much better.
