Best in Lebanon south near everything shops beachs great staff food
We had the room done at 4pm when we arrived at 2.30!
The Rest House has an excellent location and beautiful grounds. Protected beach is very nice, great for families. The rooms are very large. Furniture could be more comfortable, but it was adequate. The staff are outstanding and very helpful.
For the price of a 5-star, the facilities were rather 3+ star. But other amenities made up for it in a way. If it were more reasonably priced, I could see staying more often and for longer duration, but $250/night is rather steep for non-luxury. One problem - smoking is allowed everywhere.
There was mold in the bathroom. The internet was so slow I could not use it. The bar was closed.
the only staff I found deserve to be at the hotel was a valley parking who really was acting in a welcoming attitude and active doing his job. He found for me an adaptor for the laptop. He even did an initiative to clean my room when I found out it wasn't.
Dear customer service, My last stay at rest house resort was a disaster. -Room was not clean specially the toilet - the WiFi barely connect to the room - I extended on night , went out came at night the room was not cleaned although I informed the receptionist on my out to do so. - food quality is zero - the receptionist is not polite. Today at 1:15pm I called the reception asking if I can extend on more night, she said let me check and I call back, I told her meanwhile I will take my shower and pack my luggage in case no vacancy. Suddenly after 15 minutes another receptionist called me in an impolite manner saying why I am still at the room. So I packed and went down to the reception and made a big scandal seen. The receptionist kept on his impolite attitude. So paid and sweared at them and left very disappointed. Note that they considered the second nite not thru booking. This resort must be removed from any listing. The breakfast is poor and not presentable. I am trying to contact the owners of this resort to see why they employ impolite resources.
everything coming back on wednesday
It is too expensive for the service quality and rooms comfort
beach was beautiful, hotel was okay, rooms were kind of old fashionedm definetly needs some renovations. Most importantly is that you pay 200$ for a room you can get in Mykonos in a 4 star hotel
Everything was amazing espacially riyad he is so kind
Close to the (private) beach.
We were supposed a check in at 2pm, but our room was not ready before 3.15pm after a lot of pressure from my side. The room was supposed to be "a 400$ suite" but was a very old, worn-out apartment with 2 bedrooms. The painting falling from the ceiling, the kitchen rusty and not working, the safe not working, the automatic doorlock not working (be careful here!). The overall impression is an old hotel, badly maintained and dirty. Definitively very poor value for money spent. We pointed out the above mentioned facts, but got no excuses, discounts or what so ever. The bar on the beach only serves beers, and not what is on the menu posted by the sunbeds. Lebanon has so many beautiful hotels with very good value for money, and this is definitively not one of them.
Helpful and friendly room service staff. Beautiful location. Spacious rooms
The room door could not be opened properly. Iron that was provided to the room was not working. Breakfasts in the restaurants were not ready at 9am
Its my 2nd time in this facility. I love the place
Nice welcome from the reception staff. Room was ready and clean (although a strong smell of Dettol). Enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Great breakfast choice. I will definitely be going back!
Perhaps I could have been told that it was best to book for an evening meal in the restaurant rather than just turn up. It would have been nice to have more than just Nescafe regular coffee available at breakfast (Nescafe Gold, or Arabic coffee for example). The young woman running the checkout desk was blunt to the point of rudeness. She was sarcastic to the other young woman working with her in front of us. She didn't smile and we stood there waiting for her to tell us everything was OK to leave. In the end, I had to ask her and, without even looking up, she said,"Yes." Really though, apart from her, all the other people working there were very welcoming.
Lack of flexibility about dates of opening the beach for guests.
Playground, clean shore/ sea, nice grass and flowers, great parking
Balcony doors cannot lock from outside, breakfast buffet- no signs to tell guests that foule, eggs, juice, etc are avail upon request only, staff did not offer, room safe should be bolted to closet not removable, I put clothes out all nite to dry on patio and woke up to find the sprinklers made all our clothes wet!! We needed to use those clothes that morning
The room has access to a veranda from which it is possible to pass to the beach. Due to season (we were there for new year's night) it was calm.
Althought the accomodation has a good standard compared to the location, the complex is a bit "cold" and unpersonal. The architecture always reminded me "soviet" style... The price paid (176 USD per night for a large room classified as junior suite) is eccessive considering what you get.
