The beach - breathtaking! The staff - very accomodating and friendly! The food - delicious and satisfying! Ambience - truly a paradise!
We should have stayed longer!
Staff were amazing and friendly
The climate. A.C.very good The beach and warm waters.
Food the same every day but cooked differently, catch of the day..chicken..pork.stewed beef.. Patio doors that are so difficult to open.the whole place in need of investment and upgradeing.Always rubbish blowing around in the wind. Definatly a feeling of insecurity at night when venturing out
Excellent position with superb view over bay.One of the best positioned hotels on island.Staff extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful
Bathroom not age friendly.Lack of easy taps, and difficult to switch shower to bath.Lack of hangers for clothes Swimming pool too shallow Difficult steps down to beach for an older person
Excellent customer service
No American outlets
Friendly Helpful staff Wonderful location
Toilets near the pool in poor condition and not cleaned regularly during day.
Excellent beach front location. Very spacious well furnished room with very good air con. Near to shopping malls, restaurants etc but not so near as to be noisy. Food good, especially the ocassional roasts and BBQ though other food sometimes rather oily for our taste and breakfast fruit juices rather poor.
Insufficient sun loungers meant risking losing out or doing the dawn towel run. Loungers saggy. Beach taken over by independent lounger/sunshade traders on days when cruise ships are in. Hotel does not provide sunshades for beach. On other end of island from main airport so taxis very expensive and no hotel shuttle provided.
The location, the beach, the quietness, the food
There was no decaffeinated coffee or tea.
Location was superb..right on the beach
The food was monotonous ..but then again, for the price it was ok
Perfect location - own beach, all-inclusive service is fair, lots of activities available, staff is absolutely friendly.
Rooms are pretty basic, not what one expects in 2014 in St. Lucia AI resort.
The whole place is in desperate need of refurbishment and brought up to date. Also the staff need to be trained to be more attentive and responsive to their guests
Location and head chefs 'can do' attitude was superb!!
Cockroach in bathroom and rude and abrupt reception team member of staff. Staff also did not read the booking request of vegan meals and then phoned to ask where it was and what it meant at 7.45 am! Staff also seemed, on the whole, quite disillusioned with the company. We also used the Royal spa but were kept waiting for over 1/2 hour with no excuses and the staff arguing within our hearing. Not a professional feeling to the whole hotel chain experience. Will try to avoid in the future.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location on the beach. The room was big enough and clean. In spite of my negative comments on the other side, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a limited budget and is looking for sand and sea and pleasant staff. The dining room staff were particularly helpful..
The access to the beach is almost impossible for the physically challenged, with steps which are very high and no ramp or other way of getting to the beach. The bathroom flooded each time a shower was taken. Leak at side of bathtub which was reported but not addressed. I learned to put my used beach towel against the side of the bathtub so that I would not be faced with a bathroom flooding which threatened to go across to the other side of the door and into the bedroom. The toiletries were inadequate but this was alright as I had brought my own.
The hotel is on the best location in the island. Fantastic beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good with a lot of variety. The value for this place considering the included meals is excellent.
The rooms are old, outdated, in need of renovations. Twice spotted huge cockroaches in the bathroom.
Right on the beach and a short walk into the shops at Rodney Bay and the harbour, lovely views.
A few staff ignored requests. Food was very poor. Often Not even warm, and tasteless. Very little for vegetarians. We got flooded out and gave us a room with curtains hanging off the window, and the plastic box tv had a crack in it. However we then got a much better room after not accepting the previous one, which we should have been offered first.
The food& the lovely waitresses....
Location and price was key for us and it delivered on both; we were repeat guests and they recognised that
dirty bathroom very slow check in process
Close to restaurants and stores. Nice to be walking distance.
Our hotel room did not have wifi, even though it was advertised. The shower flooded and no one came to look at it or help clean up. During the day the hotel did not have water. If you miss breakfast, you have to go off the resort for food. The serving staff were not that accomodating. Only one restaurant was open, the other was closed for renos. You have to wait til store opens to buy water, there is no other place to buy it.
Liked how the rooms were so beautifully designed I liked the reception staff namely Shaba and I love the location of the hotel. i loved the fact that my query was handled and i was pleased with the results.
I don't like the lack of use of such a beautiful facility. i don't like what is offered after you check out, especially as an all inclusive customer. i think check out for all inclusive customers should be extended until 5 with no room accommodations.
Beachfront restaurant, good bar choices and range of local cuisin and entertainment
Day trippers mainly americans from cruise ships using thye facilities alongside hotel guests
Service was fantastic, staff went out of their way for you. Facilities were pretty okay as well.
The rooms were very run down and the bathrooms could have been cleaner. The food, although it was all inclusive, could have been of better quality.
By the beach The Breakfeast chef was amazing and so friendly The bar tender was able to make smoothies
Food too much fried Not enough fruits No real local food Bar close too early No movie room like cinema Desert no good No cheese
Excellent value for money, friendly staff and amazing location. Exceptionally clean. Free water sports a real bonus.
Resort a little tired, especially the bathrooms but did not affect the overall holiday.
