We only stayed for one evening at the end of a boat trip and really enjoyed our stay. Our Villa was great! We really enjoyed the view, and the privacy.

The view, the staff, the space.... Pretty much everything! The price, and the fact they overbooked (or was it Booking.com?) and we were moved to another resort, that we didnt like as much, for the last night.

These are our Five Favorite Things about Stonefield after a 10-day vacation stay . The beauty - ocean, mountains and the Petite Piton The people/staff - everywhere - in restaurant; reception; grounds; spa The private pool at our Villa - soooo nice and clean The Bamboo Spa services - DAWN was fabulous - do not miss out The Food & Fresh Fruit Drinks at the Mango Tree Restaurant served by Lisa Tarnishia Deiseree and Sherryann GREAT ladies! Excellent flavors; hints from the islands, yummy seafood, and even a great burger too. Yum! There were so very few things that we didn't like about Stonefield. But here are 2 items that could be improved for everyone, we think. #1-While we loved the outdoor private shower, 2-3 days we did not have hot water. While it was never a problem for us to turn on and wait for the water to get hot, these few days, it never did get hot. All the other days 6-7 it was fine, you just had to let it run for 5-8 minutes first. Maybe installing a "hot water on demand unit" at each villa would take care of the problem. I heard a few other couples mention the same problem at breakfast, but again, maybe it is only a few units and not a problem at every villa. We were in Gingerlily. #2-While we LOVED not having a TV or phone in our villa we do wish there had been internet service there. We did use the hot spots everyday at the Mango Tree Restaurant and Bamboo Spa; but several days the internet was spoty off and on and then, 2 days of the week we could not get on at all. We were told one day that there was a brown-out of sorts and that the island had lost power so the Estate was using generators, but not sure how that would have effected the As much as we would have loved to ignore (home & work) in reality - between elderly parents, work duties, and children's needs, it is easier to check on things by email/internet than to call. So we would suggest adding the internet to half of the Villas first and then, asking guests what they think - or if they used it. Even honeymooners want to blog these days and send pictures to FaceBook and family. While I know the internet shouldn't be that important- at our age I hate to admit it but it is truly a window to the world and home. It is less stressful if you have it 24/7 rather than having to plan to get on at certain times at certain places and then, when it's not working to worrying about when it will come back up, did my email go out, etc.
