The hotel was situated close to the main restaurants and withing walking distance of local beaches. The staff were pleasent and were always happy to help with any queries that we had. It's not a family hotel but more of a young couple/ group of friends place to stay.

It is located central of the city so be prepared for the usual cons and beggars to try and take your money. There is no kitchen facility or dining however there are very cheap restaurants close by

Location is great for exploring the area and getting to restaurants/bars Air con was much appreciated and balcony view of Petit Piton and the sea idyllic.

The sheets were stained with what I assume to be suncream and the coverlet was ragged in places. Table sticky. Bathroom was a bit dingy as only had one weak light in there. Main issue though was the reception only opening at 9. This wasn't explained to us when we checked in so left us waiting for half an hour to leave. Staff weren't at all welcoming and had taken the money from my card before I had seen the room. Overall, it is an okay(ish) place to stay for a night in order to look around Soufriere. Do not spend your holiday in St Lucia there though.

Front desk staff were very helpful in particular Janita. Good value for money and an excellent location.

Loss of water pressure on final days stay.

The balcony with view of harbour, sea, sunset and the petite piton. The central location in town allowing easy access to buses, beaches, shops and restaurants

Being above a shopping mall may give some people a sense of insecurity, but the hotel staff are present during the day, a security guard during the evening and all the doors in or out of the whole building are firmly locked at night. When we left at 5.00 am to catch an early flight in a taxi booked for us by the hotel reception, we could not get out of the hotel because the security guard had gone missing, leaving everybody locked inside. We eventually left via the fire escape involving a hazardous descent of a pitch dark staircase, removal of wooden beams and lumps of concrete blocking the door and setting off the fire alarm. Heh Ho - all part of the adventure of independent travelling.

Central town location with views of the hills and sea by choice. Spacious comfortable rooms with 2 twin beds and large balcony. Fridge and microwave provided. Good free WI FI access. Helpful staff. Delightful little town scape - friendly people. Spent 3 nights - would gladly stay here again. Good basic hotel at a very reasonable price

No lift - need to climb steps two floors up to access rooms.

What was not to like about this charming Hotel. Close to the beach, close to shops, close to several good inexpensive restaurants. Views of the Pitons from the balcony and views off the pretty colonial church and the small main square. In addition Soufriere was charismatic!!

Nothing to do with the Hotel, but there were too many beggers for comfort in the town.

very central. reasonably priced. hygenic and functional.

It would be nice to see the door by reception going up to guest rooms kept locked and only those authorised to access/enter.

There was nothing to like... I stayed over night and it was very stressful and so I checked out immediately next morning.

The sheets were dirty, I did not even bother to change my clothes or shower there. The bath was smelly and the drinking glasses provided had grim to the button.. It was late already when I arrived that evening ... So I had to wait the next morning to check out. The attendant at the desk was poor. The restaurants around were horrible and I did not by anything from the restaurants .. The entire place was like a ghost town.. Sorry but I will not go back to Soufiere...

In the middle of the town. Professional staff. Huge rooms.

As it is in town you may not have access to a private beach, which it is a pity because there are others around that have. As taxis are expensive in St Lucia you may think that downtown will be better, but Soufriere is too small and not much is happening in the town centre, so my recommendation will be to book a resort with beach and be prepared to negotiate with locals as Soufriere is not very structured in tour offers (most tours are booked by big resorts outside it, and are overpriced).
