too many perfumes. The detergent for the sheets, the soap in the bathroom, the pot pourri, the glass bottle with the wooden sticks. Fewer perfumes and just plain cleanliness obviates the need for all those scents.
Beautiful view, good breakfast, located in the mountains, good for outdoor activities
environment, location, staff, restaurant with tipical food
restroom is a comon one, need to display also in english the indications about parking and the dangerous about the road to go up to the hotel, breakfast
We arrived at late night and the liechteinstein bus ends half way to the hostel. The owners drove a snowmobile to pick us up. The house was perfectly located in tranquil mountains and the facilities were classic but still in good condition. In conclusion, if you want to experience life in liechteinstein other than just hanging out in Vaduz for two hours, this property is an excellent choice. It worths every penny of it.
Hotel staff were very friendly, food was delicious, excellent value for money
Remoteness, peace and quiet. On "route 66" hiking trail (alpine way). Stunning views and comfy bed, with a welcoming hostess. Separate room for wet and muddy boots/coats. Clean bathrooms with hairdryers.
A limited choice at breakfast, but very filling. Restaurant at night food basic but filling. Not brave enough to drive down mountain single track road in dark - steep drops.
Great scenery! The hotel picked us up from the bus stop even we reached late at around 9pm. Friendly owner. Cozy stay feel like home.
Need to climb the hill up to the hotel for 1km. But worth it with the breathtaking scenery.
Friendliness of staff Location Animals View atmosphere
Kitchen closes early and food a bit pricey. No restaurants in the vicinity so unless you eat early, you're in for a hungry night.
Staff was wonderful! They are very friendly and accommodating.
The staff was perfect for our questions, and sharred family pictures for the evening. We also were told of the history of this place which has been in business for over 120 years.
The road was narrow, but that also helped keep several people away.
Amazing views, lovely spacious bedroom. Will be back.
Old photos and history. Good food
Several step to negotiate with bags to get to room.
This facility is fantastic if you are an avid hiker. There are a plethora of trails with incredible views of the Alps right outside the doorstep of this hotel.
Superb location. Great drive up the mountain. Very welcoming hosts. Would recommend.
the nature, the air,the silens with klinking with the bels
This guest house was a little 'out of the way' but well worth the effort of drive up the windy roads. The view is breath taking especially when you are in room 6. There is a balcony and window that opens to the most spectacular scenery. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating.
Fantastic Beautiful Location helpfull Friendly Staff Best Value for Money in this Lilliput Country
Danke! Kiitos! Everything so unique, alpakkas etc peacefull nights 4 nights with you
€4.50 beer (which in that part of the world is very reasonable!) Excellent fondue - €20 each Amazing views from the rooms of the mountains including chickens. When we arrived we were told there was a large group and that our room had been upgraded to a suite (a sofa and a larger room)! A selection of what look like pygmy goats and an alpaca out the back which you can look out onto from a window going up the stairs. On the morning of our departure there was alpine music at 10am complete with yodelling! There are many well marked hiking & biking trails with the paths going right past the front of the hotel!
The bathroom door didn't close/lock properly put pulling it too was fine. (more of a minor annoyance than anything) The owner had a bit of a rough charm but was helpful enough
good comfortable accomodation, in apline region. Quite a distance from the main center, but, as we a car, its not an issue. The last 2 km drive on narrow road is a bit scary, you can use to it. We booked a room with shared baths, but its not a bother to us.
all is fine, we have no complains
Received a very warm welcome, great food and the scenery is outstandingly beautiful! Beds were very comfy and it was lovely to wake up to hear the sound of the cows bells.
Wonderful hotel in the mountains!!! One of the best places I have ever visited!! Incredible atmosphere (when you arrive, when you wake up, when you are there…), typical wooden and nice rooms, and even if the bathrooms are shared, this is not an issue!! WiFi working properly. Really nice stuff (even if we arrived later than expected, they were waiting for us!). Good breakfast! I will come back again, without any kind of doubts!
To arrive to this paradisiacal hotel, it's a bit more complicated than you think, even if you have gps, prepare the route in advance, not to have any problems! However this is not a problem! It's just a tip! =)
Friendly, welcoming, panoramic views
The drive up from Vaduz to the Berggasthaus Sucka was beautiful and thrilling, leading along a narrow, winding, often single-lane road. The view was also great at the lodge itself, as it's situated on the hillside with access to hiking trails nearby. It was neat to have a breakfast made with ingredients from the farm. The availability of toys for the youngster to play with outside was nice.
The walls are a bit thin, so noise is easy to hear. The staff was nice, albeit business like. Not a complaint or a problem, really, they just weren't as warm as some. The roads leading there could be a turn off for some, though they were one of the highlights for me.
Amazing views. Very friendly & helpful staff. My wife suffers from Coeliacs, the owner went out of her way to get Gluten Free bread for breakfast & provided an adapted GFncheese fondue for supper. Great Liechenstein hospitality.
Park at the side of the hotel at your peril. I parked there in error when we arrived, the farmer's wife next door was not at all friendly !! Make sure you park in the right place (at the front, along the track).
