If you’re doing Liechtenstein for a day, Schaan is a good place to visit as it is colocated with the capital Vaduz. Of course, as you’d expect it is very clean, feels quite wealthy, and has beautiful surroundings.

Nothing was open.
Nothing was open. There's no city center that we could find, and everything was deserted. We looked all over for a cafe or ice cream place but found nothing. We really wanted a souvenir shop for Liechtenstein stickers and postcards... Found nothing at all.

Liechtenstein is small but perfectly formed.
Liechtenstein is small but perfectly formed. You can cycle along the Rhine from one end of the country and back to the other in a day along a flat route, but there is also great mountain biking, hiking and skiing in winter. The local bus network is very extensive and the Tageskarte can get you anywhere in the country with ease. It's worth going up to Malbun, the ski resort, even in summer, when you can see the marmottes and maybe see eagles too. It's a modern country but there are historic buildings. Sadly, you can't get inside either Schloss Vaduz or Schloss Gutenburg.
location is up a hill which gives great views, but car is good to have, although its walkable for sure. Close to walking paths in forests, so lovely. check-in is a bit tricky for those of us who aren't auto check-in experienced. I suggest they put up a few more signs for guidance up to help first-time users. There is restaurant staff there who help although they are not part of the hotel itself, they are helpful and friendly
All 3 rooms are clean and comfortable but think it is a bit pricy for our one night stay of close to $300 per room. However, the surrounding is quite charming as the hotel is on a hill that there is nice view from the balcony or window. There is a vine yards and fruit trees in front and very nice to walk around in the morning. Breakfast is pretty good with local cheese, bread, fruits and yogurts that we really enjoy it.
The facility is very new and well designed. It's not only stylish but very practical (Ex. there's separate space for lockers in each room that you don't have to wake up other roommates while packing early in the morning). I loved the common space that is great for remote work, too! Free town bus to Vaduz also runs every half an hour from a bus stop near the hostel. The staffs are friendly too, highly recommended!
Quiet place just 5-6 minutes from vaduz (by car). Great info and directions by the hotel, describing the procedure, location, and bus route to get to the hotel. As new and clean as it gets. We were impressed! Spacious room, everything new! Automatic check in-out, no hassle, no delays! Breakfast was plain simple but good enough to get your day started, dont expect anything fancy, or hot dishes.
Breakfast rich and amazing , room comfortable clean and fashioned designer , one must to stay for visit Liechtenstein and locations around Switzerland and Austria ... also some good restaurants close by 5 minutes walk and facilities like malls and supermarkets ... If you wanna try a luck ; Casino in Schaan or Grand Casino Liechtenstein in Bendern are a must too ! ! !
brand new hotel. good location if driving and don’t mind driving into other towns for dinner. everywhere very quiet around.
comfy beds. I liked the vegan breakfast and good allergy awareness although there are a lot of nuts around.
clean place and friendly staff at breakfast
Amazing location between Schaan and Vaduz with a bike hire station directly out the front and easy access to the Rhine.
Massive thanks to the staff for putting the Formula 1 on for me on Sunday night when I asked where I could watch it!
The place is relatively new so everything is in a very good condition. Honestly the hostel is more of a boutique hotel with the interior and designs. It is within 20 mins walk from vaduz center. The hostel is located in a quite area.
Amazing and friendly staff, great facilities, good breakfast. They were so helpful and I had a wonderful time. Beautiful views from my room, excellent common areas, and pretty well located between Schaan and Vaduz.
Very modern, clean, comfortable hotel room. Lots of light. Quite “high tech” like. Smooth check-in and check-out. breakfast arranged in a very smart way, which was quite sufficient and very nice.
The outdoor deck and location were fantastic. Supermarket close by. We walked to the center of Vaduz, which is about 1 mile. Buses are available if you don’t want to walk. Host was wonderful!
View from the hotel and nearby is very nice.
Breakfast is good. Nice design and clean place. Relatively close to hiking route to three sisters (Drei schwestern) and others.
