Superb we and the kids had a blast. very nice staff welcoming, service was great, food was out of this world.

Great setting with very friendly staff and excellent food

Huge territory. A lot of different animals(monkeys,squirrel,iguana). Diverse breakfast.

Stayed one night as Cinnamon Lodge Habarana was fully booked. Stunning scenery. Serene surroundings. Wildlife and nature. Lovely resort. Suberb breakfast and dinner buffet and assortment of delicious food. Definitely deserves at least 3 nights to fully enjoy.

The setting and surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are reasonably well appointed and kept clean. Food was better at the weekend when there were more residents

This hotel was a solid 4* in 2000 and still is, in my opinion. Restaurant staff were quick to clear tables, but not to attend to requests. Monkeys have drastically increased in numbers and nuisance value since previous visits.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful especially the staff. We arrived midweek and it was quite quiet and felt like we had arrived at a religious retreat, it was so peaceful. The rooms are set out across the site which gives the place a very relaxed and spacious feel. Cant priase it too highly.

Found a cockroach and small bugs in my room, Monkeys are violent.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good central location. Good ambience for relaxing, and interesting animals in the surrounds. The food was exceptionel.

Well appointed, comfortable rooms, in a beautiful setting, good value for money (compared to Sri Lankan standards). Great for nature, walks, relaxing and it was a really convenient base for sightseeing as well.

what's there not to like?!

Ideally located to explore the Cultural Triangle (Anuradhapura-Polonnaruwa-Dambulla/Sigiriya); Warm, smiling faces at every touch point across the resort; Comprehensive, delicious buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner; Wonderful ambience across 21 lush, green, lakeside acres laid out with well-spaced, cottage-style rooms/suites. The Deluxe (rather than Superior) Rooms and Junior Suites are recommended.

A gym would really complete the 'wellness' offering at the Resort

Even though the lake was all dried out while being there and the area(due to the dry season of course) not as green as the photos you see on the net we still liked it. Some animal activity and really nice pool area, if you´re looking to get a relaxed vacation.. well then this resort is a good choice.

Is nice to get good service but it´s a bit annoying when you sometimes feel like you don´t get any privacy. Personell always asking you ´bout what you´ve done that day what you´re doing next day. Hearing that for the whole week, it´s a bit too much. Not the best drinks, buy beer instead!.

Great location, beautiful grounds. Shame that lake was dry. Staff were wonderful and food great. Highly recommended.

Luxirious cottage with huge balconies on both sides. It has a big swimming pool. Breakfast was lavish. Built in the forest with birds chirping all day. Not far from Sigiriya rock.

Not enough food options if you go for ala carte

I liked the location it is built and the spaces between the room. Speaking of rooms they were really elegant and the view was perfect. I really enjoyed the food and the placement of the dinning area. The staff was very kind and always on top of their game. I would very much like to stay in cinnamon lodge habarana again.

Well only thing i didn't like was the fact that it did not have a gym for the visitors and i would recommend booking a room in an one story building because if you require peace and quite, its really hard to do with another room on top of your room. too much noise.

Everything but the cherry on top of the cake was all the wild animals we saw: kingfisher, eagle, monkeys, squirrels etc...

The ambience of the property ,lighting ,trees and small animals ,birds makes it a world of its own. Marvelous blend of nature synchronized with good architecture

Children are charged supplementary .a guest is made to pay for extra bed ,food,etc .for the child ,which is double taxing ...very unfair ..

Fabulous! Our room was delightful with an oustanding room boy who made it all very comfortable for us. We enjoyed the restaurant and spa but, in particular enjoyed the lovely a la carte restaurant which we had to ourselves.

One small comment. The buffet container lids were removed throughout meals so food tended to be cold.

nothing!! Für all jene, die damit ein Problem haben: in der Anlage hat es sehr viel Affen... Aber man ist ja schliesslich im Dschungel... ;0).

Magnifique hôtel, splendide piscine de temps en temps envahie par des singes (trop cool). Service impeccable, nourriture délicieuse. En un mot, parfait
