Very friendly staff, great food, huge pool, nice beach, fantastic massage

run down room, old bathroom, no mosqito net on windows, no adjustable air con. No hotel travel service for day trips so we had to orginise ourself the trips and we had a very bad expirience with ASDA tour (next door to hotel)

we stayed in room # 239 , the room cleanliness was very poor and we found too many spiders and antes. The furnture very old. no elevator available at the hotel.

I had the worst ever experiance at the Club Dolphin and will not recommend it to any one. I had problems one after the other starting from check-in. The staff are friendly but in-effcient. They are incapable of handling situations and lack proper training of any kind. The quality of service was very poor for a 4 star hotel. At times I felt that the staff want to help but dont know what to do. I should comment Mr. Charles (operator) who was kind and genuenly wanted to be of service and I think he did his best. * At check-in I was not given the Sea View room I had booked and requested 1 and half month before. for some reason it was not available, although the hotel was runnong very low occupancy. It only shows that they did not care for my request. * There is no room service menu in the room and staff dont have a clue whats available or the price of things if I mentioned any dish they said let me check. * I was served spoilt Sambol with my order for lunch. * I requested a wake-up call at 7.30am and I had someone knock my door at 6.30am with the coffee sachette and he did not have cups although I had requested fro them specificaly. and when I asked to clarify if the time was 7.30 (as there is no clock in the room) he said yes the time is 7.30am. after one hour I had the actual call from the operator for my wakeup-call. * the next day I orderd dinner to the room and the waiter dropped a plate and broke it in the room and woke up the baby with the sound. * Just before check-out I ordered room service once again and the guy at the other end said I must come to the restaurant to have rice and curry although they had been sending it to my room for the past 2 days. I had ordered Thai seafood soup and they send me some vegetable soup. * Upon check-out I was shocked to find out that my airport drop off booked with the hotel could not be charged to the room although that was the specific reason to book with the service with the hotel.

Decide at the spot not to stay and cancelled at the reception by arrival!!!!

The rude and very unpolite behaviour towards me again, like last may at the end of my stay at that time too!!!because of the fact that I have a local friend livinig closeby at Negombo, but ofcourse coloured, one of them Senegalese!! The very rude way they treated him because of visiting me, the discrimination and accuses towards him were so rude. After talking to the manager they said to solve the problem next time, so July, but upon arrival they started to make the same problem again, on which I turned around and left the place not to come back ever again!!!

Very relaxed and laid back. Cheap! Breakfast good. Massages were nice

Food was pretty average. Service difficult as many staff didn't speak English. The place was full of Germans and Russians on package tours which had an interesting vibe. Really didn't like the fact that they made us leave the room at midday for a 6pm flight even though the hotel was almost empty

The taxi driver who returned me to the airport scratched himself all the way back, snorted flem and asked me for a job and demanded money even though I had paid the hotel for this SERVICE.tHANK goodness my other experiences were good

Very high standard of service from all the staff.Choice of food at mealtimes was very good, plenty of choice and lots of flexibility about when you ate. Two swimming pools to choose from, both have direct access to the beach which is clean and free from litter. Although it was rainy season when I was there and the sea was too rough to go into. A few tour touts are on the beach but they don'd hassle you. Went on a trip to Pinawela and Kandy with Asda tours, this was excellent value for money and the guide was really knowledgeable. Rooms were clean and reasonably funished, I stayed in the main hotel but there are beach bungalows available which looked great although did hear many people saying that the sound of the sea kept htem awake at night.

Quite a distance from the nearest town however plenty of tuk tuks and taxis are available just outside the hotel gates and they're cheap.

The hotel had excellent facilities for the family. The activity pool was ideal, extremely large with a range of depths suitable for a family holiday with young children. The quality of the food served was very good especially the breakfast. The cottage rooms were of a good size, large enough for an extra bed and an additional cot. I would recommend this hotel for a family holiday. I would also recommend an all inclusive rate as the hotel is geared to this type of booking rather than a bed and breakfast rate. I will book this hotel again.

My children and husband had a little sunburn, and they wore their own t-shirts into the pool. The staff asked my family to stop using the pool unless they put white t-shirts on, which we did not have. We then had to buy 3 t-shirts from the hotel shop, so that my family could return into the pool. Not particularly accommodating on this matter.

very good service from de serving personel. The Gym was good if you want to work out your daily routine... the way the Hotel is set up/building, gardens swimmingpools is a real nice way, restaurants are o.k. They organise a lot for people especially when you are with children or travelling in a group, which you see most in this Hotel, my travelling alone, was a real special thing for them!! Everybody wondered. What I liked most, is that the Hotel is further outside Negombo, so more quiet place, not too many other tourist around!!! disadvantage, if someone wants away you have to go by taxi for dining out or visit Negombo, for me no problem I had own friend to drive, but that could be a little problem for other people....I enjoyed my stay a lot....

They had a strange policy about receiving my friend, but I made a local complain about it, with several managers and they will change their mind towards me in future, when I'll be back in Juli, so I will see if they really are doing better in this...if nog I'll change Hotel in the further future...

The staff were very polite and helpful. The layout of the complex catered for a variety of needs, especially the quiet pool area which was great for relaxing the days away.

The staff is impolite unhelpful they do not respect anyone. They did not allowed us to enter our rooms and leave us more than 4 hours from 2 pm till 6 pm. Because of miss understood but did not do any effort to try to understand our complain. After they took their money they treat us very badly and they try to push us to leave. We stayed only one day we could not stay more than that. لا انصح ابدا بهذا الفندق لا يوجد تعامل جيد ولا نظافه ولا خدمة تركوني مع عائلتي معي الوالد والوالدة واطفال صغار ما احترمونا تركونا لمده اربع ساعات ننتظر ما فيه احد منه تعاون لحل المشكله الى ان اتصلت على موقع بوكنق وشرحت لهم القصه وطلبت الغاء الحجز واتسرداد مالي

الطااقم ودود وخدوووم لاخر حد ادارة الفندق راقيه حتي انهم ارسلوا لنا كيك وحلا وفواكه بدون طلبنا لانه تاريخ اقامتنا وافق يوم ميلاد زوجتي وصارت مفااجه حلووه طبعا تاريخ الميلاد عرفوه وقت ماسجلوا بيانات الجوازات الفطور ممتاز الشااطي نظيف وجميل

الشاطئ وتصميم الغرف بالإضافة إلى المطعم وحسن الاستقبال والسلام.

كثرت الوزغ وهو من الحشرات السامة حيث يكثر في كل الغرف بالإضافة وجود عدد من الخواجات الغير مقبولين الأشكال والطباع.

الفندق سئ جدا جدا جدا لايوجد تكييف في الغرف - لاتوجد خدمة للغرف - الحشرات منتشرة في كل مكان

Красивая, ухоженная территория отеля. Много зелени. Уютный интерьер.

El hotel en general esta bien las áreas comunes excelentes, la comida deliciosa.

Lo único regular son las habitaciones ya que no son confortables las camas con colchones de muy mala calidad, los baños en mal estado, fan en la habitación demasiado ruidoso, toallas en muy mal estado.
