Perfect location with beautiful views, quiet place - only 4 rooms, nice garden, friendly staff.

This is a fantastic small hotel with just 4 very well equipped and comfortable rooms which all open onto verandahs with the most amazing views to the hills in all directions across the beautifully maintained gardens.

Without a car it is a bit isolated especially if staying for more than a couple of nights, but that is also what makes it so attractive in many ways being away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is very helpful and can arrange transport by reliable tuk-tuk drivers or by car with driver and Kandy is within 20 minutes drive.

- No tea & coffee maker facility. - Missing toiletries. - The rough & long road leading to it. - Some bugs and insects (understandable, because located in plantation site).

The hotel is a 30 minutes ride from Kandy city, but it is really worth the ride. The hotel itself has become a highlight of our trip in Kandy, besides The Temple of Tooth. They have a really nice garden, and you will be able to watch the stars at night from the spacious balcony. The manager and staff are very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend the Sri Lanka breakfast at Eleganthotel.

The place is a on the top of a hill and offers an excellent view, great atmosphere and quality to relax from the crazy Sri Lanka traffic. It takes about 10 minutes to drive up, but it's defintily worth it. It's a good starting point for all the trips around Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya, ... The owner - Mr. Udaya - is very helpful and worked in Dubai for more than ten years within the hotel industry. Three years ago he came back to start his own place and you can feel his experience all over.

Wunderschöne Zimmer und fantastische Aussicht. Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal.

Hotel ist sehr abgelegen aber dafür mitten in den Bergen, was für die Top-Aussicht sorgt.
