- Proximity to airport, as I arrived late at night. - having breakfast overlooking the beach

- Rooms are definitely not worth 15000 LKR/night. - Terrible air conditioning. Too humid inside and not well sound or weather proofed (bedding was damp from the humidity outside). - bathroom needed renovating.

On the beach with easy access. Nice breakfast - we appreciated them extending past official end of breakfast time for us. Also allowed us to stay in room until 2.30 which suited our flight arrangements

Lots of road noise. Pretty expensive for the size and quality of room.

Deluxe rooms are better, all with ocean view or pool view. Nice interior with a design twist, very helpful, friendly staff at reception in restaurants etc. Quiet and calm atmosphere, delicious food in both restaurants.

Great rooms

- Close to airport (13km vs 30km from centre of Colombo, and much less traffic), good choice for transit/early flights - Clean room, smiling and friendly staff - Nice food in restaurant, not too expensive give the range of hotel

- A lot of mosquitos (agreed not the hotel's fault), but no repellant plug in the room and the one I was provided on my request was not working, resulting in 20+ bites for my girlfriend, which obviously ruined the exeprience

The food (especially seafood, for which they are experts), location and quality of room.

The corridor outside our room was noisy and this was due to the hotel's luggage trolleys being pushed along the hard, tiled floor outside. Sadly this woke us up very early each morning. This could probably be remedied by putting some tyres on the hard plastic wheels of the trolleys. The only other point of note is that whereas all other hotels and bars seem to add local & national taxes and service charges into the prices you see, Jetwing Sea do not - so expect an extra 26% on every bill versus the menu price. This obviously won't apply to those that are staying on an all inclusive basis.

We chose Jetwing Sea for its location and weren't disappointed - by location or by anything else. We were only here overnight, but enjoyed our stay.The staff were welcoming, helpful, friendly. A minor hiccup with the booking, sorted immediately and with apologies from the staff who also upgraded our room. Our room fronted onto the beach. Dinner in the seafood restaurant was magical (sitting at a table on the beach) and at breakfast we were spoiled for choice.

Rooms suffer from thin doors - you can hear every people walking in the corridor - and every suitcase being dragged...

Location

Our emails to arrange pick up at the airport were not answered and there was no one there. We were saved by a Jetwing Travel Rep who arranged a taxi for us.

Jetwing Sea is good hotel to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Rooms are specious and comfortable too. Facilities are quite good.

As per Booking.com amount will not be charged to credit card and it was not charged in other places when we stayed there wherein we paid by cash in local currency. When we reached Jetwing sea we came to know that they have already charged to our credit card in advance almost 7 days before our booking date. It was very surprising to us since every time we were carrying local currency as per booking.com information paying by cash except in Jetwing Sea. Incase if they have to charge it should have been informed to us in advance so that we would not have carried local currency to pay to hotel. This is the only thing which was upsetting us. Rest all ok.

Well thought out comfortable and extremely clean accommodation with lovely view of the beach. Comfy bed, super shower and bath, large airy bright room. Good breakfast selection and best coffee in Sri Lanka!

Our room was not ready when we arrived at 5.30pm and originally they told us to wait, however when I asked to see the manager he immediately upgraded us to a deluxe room which was lovely.

Nice staff, breakfast also has varieties of selection...I think all rooms are facing the beachside.

Slow in check-in...as we arrived early and no much space for 3rd bed..you have to upgrade to a more expensive room (Deluxe)..

The dinner buffet and breakfasts were of a high standard and beautifully prepared. The rooms were comfortable and of a good size ( we stayed in a standard double room). Great location right on the beach. Swimming pools nice - warm and fresh water. Pool staff friendly and helpful with getting sun beds ready with clean towels. Nice big flat screen tv in the room and free wifi. Fantastic shower and bathroom.

The room felt a little damp- probably because of the air conditioning and the relative humidity. Service to order a drink and snack at the pool bar was a bit slow...but maybe that's the laid back style of Sri Lanka?

Far away from Negombo city compared to Jetwing Blue and Jetwing Beach. Staff is slow, room was not ready upon check-in.

bathrooms way too small and pool cleanliness..

The hotel is located right on it's own private beach and the rooms a nicely decorated..we had a sea view which was lovely.only stayed one night before flight home,not too far from airport and after 3 weeks of backpacking was a taste of luxury :) .the food we had was outstanding ..Mongolian BBQ theme..definately a treat..breakfast was also well thought out and every taste catered for. Check in was a bit long winded and pre-payment unusual ..almost like they didn't trust you but other than that a good stay.

I have no negative comments. We are a well traveled couple and jetwing sea has now become my favourite place i've stayed. Everything was perfect, it is a lovely hotel and the only regret we had is that we didn't stay long enough. The food variety and quality was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and polite. The design of the hotel is beautiful. I am already thinking about when I can go back.

The location of hotel is real good directly on the beach with private beach and close to the airport. Rooms on the ground have direct doors to the beach or swimming pool. Rooms design are good.

This is the first hotel in my life I booked where they charge the rooms while checking in even before I saw my room. The staff in the hotel are not friendly and not cooperative specially in the reception and spa. Also, this is the first hotel I see their spa reception staff are not friendly. The reception lobby is bad because it is open and small and it looks like a 1 or 2 star hotel lobby.
