Staff hardly speak english and was hard to meet any of them near the reception. Time of preparing food was insane - it took 2,5 hours to prepare rice&curry... (at least the food was good).

Lovely host and family .. I had a lovely time in Kandy, nice room, clean, and I can recommend this place to anyone .. great value for money :-)

Bathroom was filthy and room overall was extremely dated. Also very noisy, with the "restaurant" situated directly outside the door.

The holiday inn is located on a hill near Kandy lake, overlooking the Kandy lake and Temple of Tooth. Air is fresh, view from room balcony is good.The owner arranged airport pick up service from Colombo to Kandy, and rental car from Kandy to Galle for us, the price was good. Because we needed to rental car the night before departure, so was a bit expencive, but acceptable. Breakfast was simple and nice. Staff was friendly.

Be careful not to spill any sweet drinks or left some food over, ants will come in.

It has a very great view of the lake and temple. Sometimes the monkeys will come to check on you outside of your window. It is not far from city center- good location with good view and comfortable bed.The owner of the hotel is very warm and take good care of their guests.

очень приветливый персонал и прекрасное месторасположение, с балкона открывается красивейший вид на озеро канди. до храма зуба будды 10 минут пешком вниз по склону. с кондиционером гораздо лучше, вентиляторот жары не спасает. достойный отель за свои деньги.

полотенце не меняли, только когда мы сами попросили. менеджер отеля сказал, что учтет это в дальнейшем. в остальном нареканий нет!

С балкона номера открывается прекраснейший пейзаж на озеро и храм зуба Будды.

В номере нет кондиционера, в жаркие месяцы с одним вентилятором не достаточно комфортно.

The shower leaked resulting in water all over the bathroom which was then inevitably transported into the bedroom. Our room was directly off the "lounge" area which meant that it did not feel very private. The private balcony was a win though. Not all the staff could speak English and as such there was a slight language barrier.

We had an excellent view of lake kandy the room was clean and with high ceiling it looked really nice overall the staff were nice and things went smoothly, I hope they continue to improve the place!

Its about 1km from town centre and up on the hill hard walk up hill beds made a lot of creeking noise if you moved sides so made it hard to sleep lack of other guests made the place seem very creepy at night weird knocking noises at the glass door (birds or monkey's?) kept my wife up at night glass door by reception is locked at 10:30-11pm although a note is left with a number you can call to get the owner to come open the door. In case of emergency this can be a dangerous sitution. Their wokers came into the room while we were out and did some renovations not a word was said to us about this. Bathroom smelled because of water on the floor
