Score from 59 reviews Good
Friendly staff, clean room with hot water, convenience location, near the temple.(10 mins walk)
No sound proof at room, very noise music at night until 0100 hours which made me could not sleep well!
Overall everything was just excellent and the views from both the bedroom and dining room were awesome.
The overall experience was great. Basic facilities, but a magnificent view.
Climbing the stairs, not fit enough

Location and room service
There is no privacy.
fantastic location, very nice and friendly people, home style sri lankan food for very reasonable prices, nice sun protected roofterrace.
not really soundproof. in your room you hear sounds from the hallway quite clearly.
The hotel is just up the hill from Kandy, about a 10-15 minute walk from the lake and temple. There were monkeys climbing the trees opposite our room, also great views from the front balcony and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Staff were helpful.
We asked for a taxi to Ella but the price the manager gave us was very high so we booked it from elsewhere.
Good nature of the staff. Location
Nothing specific. .. maybe the wifi should be improved if possible.
Best professional service you can get from Sri Lanka, both for hotel service and tour guide, they have a very gentlemanlike housekeeper, huge plus! The restuant is just out of our room, so we enjoyed 3 days big platforms with great mountain view
Brilliant value for money with friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Watch out for the monkeys at breakfast ;)
Situation Price Restaurant ( take hall pension for 7$ ) Service at restaurant & réception
staff never there if not to ask you for a cigarette or to try and see if they can sell you a guide tour from someone they know. If you sleep in the rooms with windows looking to the main entrance side of the hotel you will have trouble sleeping in the morning for the noises of employees who generally start working around 6am. We were charged a bottle of white local wine 18€ and at our complaint the guy suddendly could not even speak proper english anymore. we had many luggages with us but nor at our arrival neither at our departure did any of the staff help us.
Simple yet clean. Outstanding views from the terrace during breakfast. Walking distance to Temple of the Tooth.
No Wi-Fi, not very welcoming atmosphere (comparing to other hotels in Sri Lanka).
The location from our first floor front rooms provided excellent views of the Udawattakele Sanctuary. The rooms were spacious and clean as were the bathrooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty and the portions were more than adequate. We were able to access Wi-Fi in our rooms as well as outside. We had access to well located communal areas. The price was reasonable for the facilities and the location.
Nothing to mention.
The hotel is located a little out of the town, set on a hillside with plenty of vegetation and a lovely village feel. Nice and quiet! The curries were also fabulous!
The staff at Nature Walk were, well, a little annoying. The man at the main desk really didn't seem to understand anything we asked though he appeared to. The concierge/ main and only waiter, though apparently the only person really working hard at the hotel, was a little... Over friendly! It was often hard to get rid of him and he seemed to appear/ creep up behind us constantly. Some things he said or alluded to I thought overstepped the mark.
Location Rooftop restaurant
Clean, very well kept. Very nice view
Far too expensive, unfriendly staff, no wifi in room, humidity and moisture in room, bedware not clean
Great views, very friendly staff in the restaurant, food was tasty, rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Bats and monkeys could be viewed from the balcony.
Reception staff wasn't too knowledgable or their English wasn't great (we couldn't tell!). Little noisy due to stone tile floors. Wifi didn't work well.
The view, the restorant on the top floor, the kitchen was excellent and friendly staff
The guesthouse has a really beautiful architecture and homely feel. Amazing views from the balconies and the top floor open air restaurant. Good night's rest, only hearing nocturnal animals and the rain fall. Would certainly recommend and am looking forward to a weekend in this lovely Kandy hideaway again.
Additional charge during Perahera makes it a bit less value for money.
Very nice view, especially from the restaurant on the top floor. Spacious room with balcony. Nice common areas to sit down, relax, and enjoy a drink.
No mosquito net. Bathroom was not clean and full of ants and mosquitos. Wifi horrible. Compared to other places a bit expensive.
The place was clean and staff was friendly.
The bedding felt damp, and not enough bedding. The shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom - everything got wet. Wifi was almost non-existant. No tea and coffee making facility. No water in the room, then none given on second day. No credit card facilities.
This was a basic clean hotel. The views were fantastic from the room and the restaurant. Dinner was most enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Good wifi. Location was good, a little out of town but close enough to walk or a short tuk tuk ride.
The staff at reception were not very helpful.
We stayed in a double room with A/C (big rooms) and had a great view over the jungle. Do not leave things on your balcony, since there are monkeys walking on the balcony in the morning. Also, do not pay more than 300 rupees from Kandy city center to the hotel, as the tuktuk drivers are quite agressive over here. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
The staff was nice, although one of the guys kept talking about tours we could do with him, which was a little bit annoying. The other man was really nice and helpful though.
