Nice Place Hotel  

The hotel is further from the busy roads, so it is quiet! You will meet small geckos on walls everywhere, don`t be afraid of them :) Breakfast is simple, but on the whole it is worth for the money!

Very low water pressure, poor breakfast.

As it's name says "Nice place hotel" It is really nice.Staff are really nice and friendly.

Needs Televsion in the room.

Very Nice Place! In the midst of the jungle, way off everythin, very quiet, all green. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The porch I had in room 79 granted me the most privacy ever. Staff is very decent and helpful. Very nice stay for relaxing and peaceful evenings. I loved it.

Well, the only drawbackl: Wifi did not work with my iphone. But Wifi in the restaurant was pretty good with MacBook.

Nice Place Hotel is located on a quiet location in the countryside but still it is easy to visit all the Triangle sites. Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms with your own veranda or balcony in a quiet garden.

Staff are great! Rooms are big & well appointed. Dinner was very good & so was breakfast. Ground are very peaceful & relaxing. Woul recommend this place.

Long, bumpy & just plain bad road getting to hotel. You must have a car (with driver preferable) since hotel is not in city center. Room was ver clean except for shower curtain which had some mold/mildew & shower head could use replacing.

Location was a little difficult to find.

It has a nice guitar player who will entertain you at your dinner.

The rooms were fine, but damp and it seemed like it could be cleaner.

Staff smells badly and was unhelpful, room was awfully dirty (insects were everywhere, bed was very dirty). Bath had some spild water on the floor.

you describe the rooms as basic - I would describe out room as spacious ( at least 25M sq ) with a balcony and a very comfortable bed and pillows, large bathroom, spotlessly clean and view over trees with squirrels and birds hopping round the trees

The description was wrong in particular: "WiFi trhroughout" - WiFi was only available in the restaurant "each room has satelite TV "- the room had a television linked to a terrestrial TV aerial showing fuzzy pictures in Sinhalese . The TV itself was large enough but perched on top of the wardrobe and out of keeping with the general standard of the room,

Nagy szobákat kaptunk az emeletes épületben, az emeleti teraszról a Sigiriya- t is látni lehetett. Jó konyha, csendes környezet.

Nem volt rossz tapasztalat.

Embora longe de Dambulla, fica situado a meio caminho desta cidade e do rochedo de Sigiriya. Fácil visitar os 2 locais através da utilização de tuk-tuk. Localização simpática no meio da floresta/zona rural e muito tranquilo. Restaurante simples e agradável. Though far from Dambulla city center, is ideally located halfway from Sigiriya rock and Dambulla caves, both easy to reach by tuk-tuk. Located in the countryside is very quiet. Nice but simple restaurant.

En el sitio en el que estaba ubicado, en plena naturaleza. Aunque cerca no había nada y para desplazarte necesitabas un coche.

The staff were friendly upon arrival

They didn't provide what they said on the website and then lied about it. You definitely need a tv in dambulla as nothing to do at night (this wasn't the only problem) The lies they told tipped the scale. We said we would check in somewhere else- they thought we were bluffing and upon leaving they all of a sudden had a better room. Too little too late. Guests do not like being lied too.

the wifi is only working in the restaurannt the bathroom was very dirty and with not enough light the place is far away from Dambulla so you definitely have to take tuk tuk to get there

I stayed in one of the rooms, not the bungalows. The room was clean and spacious. Recommended.
