Hotel close to the airport (20 min drive), spent the last two nights in sri lanka, hotel ok but ..,

Terribly dirty beach

Great location near the airport which is only 20 minutes away, good food, right next to the beach and excellent pools at the hotel itself.

I like the fact that it was near the beach. The staff was courteous and helpful. The pool was clean.

No in room dining, no water bottles available at arrival (evening). Only 2 towels, no hand towels, no wash cloths.

The room rate is very high. Other tropical countries like the cheaper hotels.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes drive from the Airport, so you can get some rest soon after the long flight. Though the hotel building is quite old, it has been maintained well.

There is insufficient ventilation in the bathroom. The 160usd charged for the new year night was overpriced considering I had to pay an extra 30usd per person for the evening buffet dinner. The place & the beach was not worth that price.

The "family" atmosphere of the Hotel. Specially during the meal times staff were attentive and made it a point to have a brief chat. Mr Miranda is to be commended in this aspect of Guest relations. The House keeping staff member we had servicing the room was also quite knowledgeable of local attractions. The variation of the Buffet contents was quite good as we stayed over 3 nights, and the price quite reasonable. The Christmas eve "party" was well planned and the live band and lighting was in good taste.

The comments below are not "dislikes" but are meant to be suggestions The vehicle parking arrangement could be improved. Since the Parking lot is situated away from the hotel, perhaps a valet parking service could be offered to Guests. A dedicated power point for the kettle in the room would also be of benefit as the 'fridge had to be unplugged every time we made tea/coffee. A compendium in the room would also be of benefit as even to ring Reception I had to take a wild guess as to what the number was.

staff was amazing, stayed continuously at our service. but the hotel needs lots of renovation, their were no toiletiries and room was out dated, later found a better option at much better price just few meters away, hotel camelot beach.

Clean hotel (room), which is not always the case in Sri Lanka in mid-class hotels. Good food: dinner and breakfast. Nice swimming pool.

Hotels in Negombo do not offer driver's accommodation, because the drivers' offices are mostly in Colombo, close by, but if you need your driver during your stay in Negombo, this is a disadvantage.

We only stayed one night at Paradise Beach. It was the first night of our 2 week honeymoon in Sri Lanka. We wanted somewhere comfortable to stay that was close to the airport. Paradise Beach met all our requirements. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was not far from the airport (and on the beach) and the breakfast was good. If we had more time in Sri Lanka we probably would have stayed longer at Paradise Beach. The staff were friendly and there was no hassles with a late (2am) check in.

Convenient to the airport.. In the tourist centre of Negombo.. On the beach.. Okay for one night..

Probably got the worst hotel room on the day.. Package holiday groups seem to take priority over individual bookings.. ended up with a small room facing a construction site on the side..

comfortable budget hotel for end of holiday, close to the airport. food tasty.

Tea bags and coffee in bags rather than tea pot and coffe pot.
