friendly helpful staff This hotel appears to be a bit tired in decor. Also slightly expensive.....but maybe because Colombo is not a cheap place to stay. The hotel seems to cater to large travel groups and to wedding parties.

The staff were friendly friendly right from the time I checked in at 1.30am, until my checkout a few days later at 4.30am. It was also very good value for money considering so many hotels in Colombo are way overpriced The wifi was a bit slow - but it was free, so can't complain too much

Staff and service at the Sapphire Hotel was excellent. Although the location on Galle Road could have led to excessive noise, we did not encounter any. Staff were helpful with directions for shopping and restaurants. Our room on the third floor was huge with a nice piping hot shower. A couple of spots in the room could use some tlc but that is only a minor issue. Breakfast mainly caters for Indian clients. Found some of the American style not to be hot however when asked it was no problem for the cook to whip up a couple of eggs and bacon.

Not good! The rooms had a very bad smell. The worst turn off was that there was no locker in the room. In short, this hotel is not recommended at all. The price was too high (but this is mainly a srilankan issue). I think people should stop going to srilanka because everything is expensive and everyone is greedy (looking for tips, otherwise poor service).

I hate it to be honest and wont come back again ,that hotel staff where noisy all the time and at morning we alway hear door knocking for room service while we sleep and didnt ask to weak us up

Proximité des grands hotels pour les déjeuners et dinners.les grands hotels non loin ont des buffets à environ12 euros . excellent! Les chambres du 3ème étage sont confortables, propres. Le house keeping fonctionne bien. Les repas du restaurant ne m'ont pas rendu malade. Le prix des chambres par rapport à l'hôtel est un rien élevé , mais les hôtels ont cette même pratique à Colombo.

The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. We were a few hours early for the check-in but the staff at the reception arranged the room to be available immediatly.

房间够大,房间设备较齐全,所以住着蛮舒适的。 对面就有FOOD CITY，还有类似老商业街的地方，购物还算方便。100RS就能到KFC，离海边就隔一条街。 够大，还算舒服。算物有所值。 酒店装修较老，但还好不会影响清洁。只是显得陈旧（当然跟科伦坡的希尔顿酒店--2001年装修，沙发扶手都磨发光。。。一比，也释然了）。
