Very friendly staff. Great views - rooms with balconies. Clean and comfortable. Wi fi works in rooms. As long as you don't mind a bumpy 10-15 ride from Kandy town, this is a fantastic place to stay. It is very easy to find, just head up the hill from the rugby stadium, past the hospital following the hotel signs (Paradise Park and Kenyan Hills Hotel are other signs to follow).

Big spacious room, there are only 6 rooms in the hotel, nice view to the city and mountains around, open roof terrace, great design and nice furniture, attentive helpful stuff, very recommended place Road to the hotel is in horrible condition, Hotel location on the Google Maps is incorrect - hard to find and explain to tuk-tuk drivers, separated bathroom (2 m opposite the room)

The guest house itself is very good...it has total 7 levels each has a room...our room was on the top with beautiful valley views...they provided us with iron and iron stand, water heater, free wifi, free parking for our car, especially I would like to mention hansa he was so nice..whatever we needed he provide us with that In minutes leaving whatever he was doing... We brought our food and breakfast from the town and the staff helped us with arranging table for us every time with perfectly clean crockery... The road that leads to the guest house is badly broken...although we already knew about that as many wrote about the road and then again I will agree with a review that its not the guest house fault.... Also The dishes in front and at the back of the guest house but still the view is so beautiful that you will hardly notice them Our room was on top of the house and on the first day the water pressure in the bathroom was nearly zero, did complain about it and the next day it was better but still not what we wanted ... Ants will gather as soon as you leave your tooth paste open or leave any food on the Table so just take care of that.... Rest the hotel is value for your money....

Smart, stylish, well-equipped room. Incredibly helpful staff with excellent attention to detail. Excellent food. Reductions in prices were made for vegetarian options - without being requested! Lots of attractive communal space. Bathroom outside the room (we knew to expect this and it was for our sole use). Be aware that this hotel is a 10-12 minute tuk-tuk ride from central Kandy & some tuk-tuk drivers don't know where it is.

We spent one night only in the Hills Lodge. Our driver had no problem to find the location. The place itself is nice guesthouse with nice overview of Kandy. The room was small but cozy and clean. The staff very helpful and kind. There was no kettle in the room, the last 2-3km of the road leading to the place is bumpy. There is nothing to do in the area if you are planning to stay longer.

Fantastically helpful and friendly staff, we really enjoyed the 2 night's we spent here. Spacious, very clean rooms and great location, just what we needed after arriving in Kandy from Colombo. Dais is a very charming chap with whom we left as friends! Great views. Mobile phone mast nearby, but did not bother us too much.

Very clean, friendly service, big room and a big thanks for decorating the room. Decent place for a night stay. Not a big deal but the cable tv didn't work despite the manager's best efforts, however this should've been checked before we checked-in. Breakfast came late despite as requesting it early. The place is a bit far from the city.

Stayed 1 night and it's great value for money. Staff is helpful and place is clean and quiet. The place is a little difficult to find, even the tuk-tuk drivers don't know where it is but it's a 10 mins ride from the centre of Kandy.

This was a fantastic place to stay, very clean, airy, great views and sense of being away from the hubbub after an active day. The breakfast of fruit, sausages, eggs and toast was good value. The people who worked there were extremely accommodating especially Kumaravel Kumaran. Thanks. After we got used to the idea that we'd have to take a rickety tuk-tuk ride up the hill each time between town and lodging, we didn't mind. We felt it was worth the money and rutted road to be in the setting of the lodge. Just know there are a couple of cell or whatever towers nearby but just don't look there. The distance wouldn't necessarily have been too long to walk down to town, but we might have gotten lost. Had we been more adventurous....

Helpful staff, nice and simple food, well appointed rooms. It's a good place to be in away from the crowd. Great place to unwind and relax. Getting up to and getting away from the lodge is a problem but once you are there it feels nice and good. The management should provide a once a day, fixed time complimentary pick and drop to town.

We stayed just one night at The Hills Lodge, but had a wonderful stay. The room was really big, super clean, quiet & comfy. Kunam, the host, was very very friendly and accommodating...helping with whatever we needed. It is a little outside of the city, but it made for a very peaceful stay (and only 3 km to the Temple of the Tooth, for example) We definitely recommend this hotel.

New and clean hotel with a lot of amenities. The view was was spectacular too. Overall, the stay was excellent. The only problem is the location as there are no signs to the hotel. Had a very hard time finding it but the staff were very nice and accommodating in finding the hotel.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever booked in my life. The staff were so friendly. The room were clean and comfort. المشكلة الوحيدة بالفندق الطريق اللي يودي للفندق من الطريق الرئيسي مريح ويتسع لسيارة وحدة بس . لكنه طريق قصير The only things that I really do not like is the short road from the main road to the hotel. But they can't do any thing about it, because the road is under the government responsiblty .
