The hotel is small and friendly run by professional staff who are attentive and courteous. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with a complimentary bowl of fruit on arrival. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food set in a room which overlooked a pleasant courtyard garden. The hotel is well positioned in a quiet area on the edge of the old town which is perfect for visiting the city sites on foot. We would recommend this hotel to our friends. We were given a kettle and some tea bags in our room when we asked for them. It would have been nice to have some coffee and milk as well.

Quiet, small scale, intimate,easy. Shower system uncomfortable to use; liquid soap dispensers unreliable, sink drain impossibly slow. Breakfast buffet, while good, did not seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. Wireless internet extremely irregular and unreliable.

We were upgraded to a suite that was a nice surprise. The staff were very welcoming and friendly at all times. Facilities like coffee and water in the rooms were not replaced once used. Very small portions at the buffet breakfast, so that items ran out fast and were not replaced.

Very good place for family (business room) and couples who didn't like crowds of people and central streets. A little bit breakfast area in could season but in warm time I think there is no any difficulties with add terrace. Breakfast is good enough. Parking place too. I reccomend 3d floor to have good view to old town.Perfect place for solo tourists.

This hotel really deserves its stars. No weak points, the perfect balance. You feel home thanks to the environment and the personel behaviour (a good mix between profesionalism and sponteanity). The brekfast room offers a nice view on the garden in the back yard.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was wonderful. The Grotthuss is a delightful small hotel in a great location in Old Town. We were very happy that we chose this hotel. We liked everything but I think that some travelers may have an issue with the lack of an elevator. The staff are most helpful with the bags but some elderly persons may need to request rooms on a low floor.

The Grotthuss Hotel has a lovely old world atmosphere throughout. All staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our 4 night stay in Vilnius. Breakfasts were a special treat. The courtyard garden was beautifully maintained and an ideal place to relax.

Front desk help was great. Breakfast was very tasty. Rooms were immaculate, large, and extremely comfortable. Street and neighborhood were very quiet. Free WiFi would be a nice touch.

This is an excellent hotel, there were nice touches like a bowl of fresh fruit and flowers in the room. The hotel was comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The breakfasts are to be recommended offering a huge variety to choose from varying from cerials, to ham, cheese and even smoked salmon and herrings. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was beautiful; I was given a large double room although I only booked a single. The staff were very helpful, especially with some strange requests like where can I buy a luggage that was ruined by the airlines, and very friendly. The dinner I had in the hotel restaurant would be considered sophisticated and delicious in London, Paris or New York City. I had been to Vilnuis 15 years ago--what a difference. Everything was lovely and perfect.

A very helpful staff with a very nice breakfast buffet. Within walking distance to the old town. Given my very pleasant stay I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vilnius. The garden room setting of the restaurant is lovely and I look forward to my next visit where I will be sure to dine.

Comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine, perfect breakfast at romantic open terrace, quiet place but several minutes to historic city, professional stuff providing good level of hospitality. Restaurant is closed for dinner all Sundays and is not accessible for all guests of the hotel during any celebrations or family events when is reserved by external visitors.
