It was great. Great Value, great location and great price. We had one of the refurbished rooms and we had a great time in Kaunas made all the better by this hotel. Would recommend to anyone.

the particular designed room, the very helpful nice stuff here, they even pacaged nice breakfast for us since we need to leave at 3:40 in the morning :) actually you can take bus 29 to the airport or from the airport instead of the shuttle bus. 2lt compared to 13lt...

The location is good and the hotel does provide value for money. Staff speak English and were friendly and helpful. I think the breakfast could be improved as bread was very hard.

Design of the room is very good, hotel staff is friendly, location of the hotel is very convenient It was too cold in the room (I think, about 18 c), one five-sectioned radiator is not enough for such big room

Location was fine. The lady in the recep. Was kind and friendly. Hard to find anything more good to say about the Metropolis, unfortunately... Big suprise was that the room was so cold! Even is winter time, there should be warm inside of the house - we are use to it in Finland. There should be mention about the coldness before coming there - now had to sleep dayclothes on =( Breakfast was poor. Coffee ended too early in the both mornings we spent there. Why the personnel doesn´t take care that there is everything to serve all the time at breakfast time? In Finland customer never have to told to personnel, that something is ending - they keep eye on, and there is food and drinks all during brerakfast time. The personnel in the breakfast room were looking like their job was the lowest thing to do. No smiling, nothing...

The location was excellent for the purpose of my stay. And so was the staff. The last day I could leave my luggage in the luggage room and enjoy a city walk. Perhaps the room door doors aren't that soundproof - you can hear everyone comeing and going. Otherwise I loved my room

The building looked old but interior were in great conditions. Good comfort and quite part of town but still major shops and restaurants were near and great place to walk during evenings on the way leading to old town. Breakfast could have been with a bit more fresh varieties.

Possibly the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I've ever met. Thank you to them for helping make my three night stay so good! Room was spottless and the ensuite facilities were fantastic. I will use this hotel in future for sure!

A friendly hotel, with 'an old world' charm. Excellent central location, very helpful staff and good public areas. Good price. Getting a little tatty in places. Disappointing breakfast.

Very pleasant hotel, with great staff. Love the bathroom design. Lithuanian tv is by far the worst I've seen. Not texted, not dubbed, instead everything is narrated. Horribly. I think Metropolis would do well in getting satelite tv.

I like the location of the hotel and the interior. Breakfast was ok, but could be better.. I like the personal who was so hospidality and friendly. Please think about better menu in the morning. porridge, omelette (egg), different fruits. I did't like that the room wasn't not enough so clean. Under bed there was trash and some a little bit dust was on the carpet. Why the porridge isn't in the breakfast menu? It's traditional food..In the morning oily food and fish is not suitable. Also the plates wasn't so clean! Please makse sure, that plates are clean before you sharing those with guests in the breakfast.

Friendly staff, English-speaking. We told them that we had to check-out earlier than breakfast time, and they offered to make us a breakfast to take away. The next morning, the breakfast was ready, nicely packed and was a really nice touch from the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable enough, shower worked perfectly; I would definitely stay here again. No kettle in the room. I like my tea. :-P

“Pre-arrival I was enormously assisted by Inga who ensured that my partner and I would have the best room available, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very beautiful and unlike other well known hotels in Kaunas we actually had coffee and tea in the room. The room service and food was excellent, all the staff are extremely kind and helpful.
