Cleaness of the room, best breakfast I have ever had this year at least, location, view from tho room. Hard to find an entrance when you come by car. Gps will not lead you to that entrance if you insert hotel adress. The right street is Maironio 22. Try that!

Because it was quite could and my husband's knee didn't like walking too much on the snowful streets we only walked to the old city and to the shopping centre. But we would like to return in summertime and see everything in a "different light". People were kind and we were helped easily. We went by train to Vilnius and enjoyed our trip. We wanted to see the countryside also. I have so many questions that next time I want to have more guidance of Lithuania nowardays. I want to know more of employment, social security, shooling system, farming, factories and so on.

The hotel is excellently located on the traditional main shopping street, convenient for bars, restaurants and other leisure facilities. The rooms are clean and modern with under floor heating and decent sized bedrooms. The main lobby area is small but functional and the pool is more of a plunge than a swim. The gym looked well stocked. The restaurant is traditional Lithuanian which mean too much salt on everything and the morning buffet was surprisingly well stocked with a wide selection of choices Overall a very good choice if you are planning a trip here Another positive is free Wifi and free parking When booking ask for a room that does not face onto the courtyard as there is a continuous groaning din from either extraction fans or perhaps air conditioning, which is amplified within the courtyard. If you have no plans to open your windows then this is fine - but if you do, it is likely to drive you nuts when you try to sleep and therefore opt for a street facing room ( the main street is fully pedestrian only)

Location only You cannot give 4 stars in this hotel... very poor common areas, small restaurant - breakfast room in the basement, only local TV channels making this hotel not suitable for international travelers ... A dissapointment considering that it was characterized as a ... fabulus hotel in your site ...

A very comfortable hotel, nothing being too much trouble for the staff - whether it be extra pillows, coat hangers or a train timetable for Vilnius. The restaurant food, which could also be eaten in the bar, was excellent both in quality and value. Not too far to walk to the old town. Towels not the biggest or best quality Rooms a little on the warm side.

As a traveler that stops in hotels across the world weekly, I was very impressed with this hotel, excellent location, free parking, good breakfast and nice room. The only down side is I was staying in the new part of the hotel, and there is some type of generator or pump that seems to run a lot, and it is noisy. But in general, a great hotel The only down side was the noise from the generator or pump in the new building, otherwise an excellent hotel

Our Hotel (Kaunas) was very good and food and drinks are cheap in comparison to other tourist cities I `ve been. They should give much mnore information and speak english. Normal tourist doesn`t understand not a word lithuanian language, that is really a problem in F.eg. Restaurants (don´t know what to order) and public transportations and museums too.

Lack of immediate Western European/American influence (for the moment). Still quirky enough to be interesting. Reviews said staff generally indifferent to customers, did not find this to be the case at all. Everything "worked" like clockwork. Would definitely recommend.

“Pre-arrival I was enormously assisted by Inga who ensured that my partner and I would have the best room available, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very beautiful and unlike other well known hotels in Kaunas we actually had coffee and tea in the room. The room service and food was excellent, all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel very welcome, it was a little like walking into your parents house on Christmas morning especially n January with the snow. I again will be visiting Kaunas in the very near future and this will be the only hotel I will book.” Edward, Dunfermline |
