Very nice hotel

Free secure parking for my van. Free wifi throughout hotel. Excellent view from 9th floor bar/restaurant.

Limited menu in panoramic restaurant.

Very good price. Next to the bus station. Ideal if you come from the airport.

The carpets are very old an dirty. Better not to use carpet, but tiles or other normal floor for hygienic reasons.

We liked its closeness to the bus and train station.It was a 2km walk to the Old Town but there were buses every few minutes at very reasonable prices.Of course there is more than the Old Town to see in Kaunas.Magnus was close to the river and very close to the big shopping and leisure complex called Akropolis which had cinemas,basketball courts,bowling alleys restaurants and an icerink as well as a multitude of shops. There was free use of internet.Room was comfortable and warm. There was a bar on the 9th floor with amazing views of the city.

I can't say that it was sparkling nor can I say that the breakfasts were gourmet style.The colours were somewhat drab but perhaps these are typical colours and the breakfasts were typical Eastern European breakfasts.They were what we expected and we were certainly not disappointed.

Location was near bus station. Just 1 minute and you are in the hotel. Good transport to city centre, but it will take not more than 20 minutes to go to Kaunas Old town. Wi-Fi was available in the room. Room was big and clean.

Bed was not so convenient. Breakfast was rather nice, but we were really surprised, that only instant coffee was offered, not natural.

We chose the the hotel because of private parking and 24-hour reception. We arrived about 4 AM, evertything was fine. Service was OK at night. Morning shift was not that good - I have nothing bad to say about them, we got the service, breakfast etc. But there were no smiles or hospitality that would make you feel welcome.

This hotel is clearly for rational people, do not except that your smiles will be returned. The top floor bar was closed, which means that you can not enjoy the advertised view.

The excellent bar was closed for 3 of the days we were there, and all food, and bar service was also not available friday/sat/sunday. Neither the restaurant or the bar was serving. We couldnt even get a coffee!!! Very, very poor for a hotel of this quality. We were forced to taxi into town to get food. such a shame that this hotel is being mismanaged.

I like the hotel in general, you get good value for the money. First day they gave a connecting room to me and my colleque which you could hear any single noise from the next door, however next day we asked them to change our rooms and they did, so we were then quiete pleased with our stay, also the restaurant have excellent panoramic view:)

new, clean hotel...Central location (right opposite Kaunas bus station and close to the train station, Laisves Aleja and Akropolis shopping mall). Standard rooms are of good size, have stylish design and there is a wonderful panoramic bar on the 9th floor offering spectacular views of Kaunas...Overall, a well-deserved 3 star-rating and excellent value-for-money!
