Best Western Santakos Hotel  

Room is quite big.

It was very cold in the room when I'd arrived (after midnight). I switched on the heaters myself, but even in the morning the temperature was lower 15 C. Staf is absolutely indefferent to my information: they looks like everything is ok, even no sorry. Furniture is poor and quite old, looks like "soviet style", breakfast is very poor. The hotel is not 4 stars, 3 stars could be very friendly score.

Helpful staff. Good loction not far away from the Old City and many other places of interest.

Cleaning of the rooms could be better.It apparently takes place only in the morning. We stayed in our room until 1 P.M. indicating "please do not disturb", then left and returned in the evening. The room was in the same condition as it was left and no clean towels had been brought. Further, the garbage of the previous tourists was in the wastebasket when we first entered the room.

Pre-arrival I was enormously assisted by Inga who ensured that my partner and I would have the best room available, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very beautiful and unlike other well known hotels in Kaunas we actually had coffee and tea in the room. The room service and food was excellent, all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel very welcome, it was a little like walking into your parents house on Christmas morning especially n January with the snow. I again will be visiting Kaunas in the very near future and this will be the only hotel I will book.

My one suggestion would be the coffee in the room.My girlfriend who is suggested the coffee be "Skonis ir kvapas or Presto, "she advised that these are the coffee smells that guests should awake to in such a beautiful room"

Beside of location, Nothing, very overrated hotel.

Staff, i never seen so rude and impolite staff in my life..We staid 2 nights at hotel and all the time you can smell sewerage..horrible smell.. Other suggestion before you put your stuff inside a room have a look at mini bar, double count all drinks , because end of your trip you will pay for a drinks which u never opened..In conclusion try to avoid this hotel..big disappointment..

Very good location. Helpful staff. Good restaurant. Nice and tidy room. Next time we are in Kaunas we'll definetily be trying to stay in this hotel.

Breakfast was excellent, rooms were spacious and comfortable, staff was helpful Location is perfect, just between old town and new town (shopping street).

Room service came a bit early (10 am) on Saturday morning.

A huge room with two bathrooms! The room was cleaned frequently. We definitely would recommend this hotel to others. Its location is also excellent with only a short walk to the old town.

The staff could be more friendly...perhaps communication in the English language is difficult for some of the staff members. The workers serving breakfast could improve with customer service, eg. A smile and some eye contact. Nevertheless, she was very busy when working alone in the mornings and did a good job.

Spacious and beautiful rooms. Good staff and service. If you asked beforehand they can book a taxi waiting for you at the airport when arriving.

The location is excellent, and the room was very nicely decorated, not at all your usual hotel room. The balcony was great, too. The hotel also had a very nice breakfast buffet, lots of variety, fresh fruit, fresh dairy, etc.
