Best Western Santakos Hotel  

There is nothing not to love about this hotel. The location is grand; the room is large and comfortable; the staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Car parking is secure. We highly recommend.

The staff were helpful and the location is fairly good (although beware).

The hotel is located next to the music school, so you might get some noise if you want to keep your windows open (very likely if the air conditioning is not working, like it was in our and other guests' case)

Room is quite big.

It was very cold in the room when I'd arrived (after midnight). I switched on the heaters myself, but even in the morning the temperature was lower 15 C. Staf is absolutely indefferent to my information: they looks like everything is ok, even no sorry. Furniture is poor and quite old, looks like "soviet style", breakfast is very poor. The hotel is not 4 stars, 3 stars could be very friendly score.

Pre-arrival I was enormously assisted by Inga who ensured that my partner and I would have the best room available, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very beautiful and unlike other well known hotels in Kaunas we actually had coffee and tea in the room. The room service and food was excellent, all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel very welcome, it was a little like walking into your parents house on Christmas morning especially n January with the snow. I again will be visiting Kaunas in the very near future and this will be the only hotel I will book.

My one suggestion would be the coffee in the room.My girlfriend who is suggested the coffee be "Skonis ir kvapas or Presto, "she advised that these are the coffee smells that guests should awake to in such a beautiful room"

It was little bit cold in the room.

Luxurious hotel for good money, I felt very comfortable. Big rooms, fast internet, free parking, great place a few meters from Laisvés aléja street and deliciuos hotel restaurant with kitchen open until 12 PM.

Swimming pool and sauna are free only between 7-10 AM. Otherwise you have to pay 20 lt.

The hotel room was spacious although dated

Staff were unapproachable, unfriendly. Aloof and unhelpful. We went to the other Best Westren hotl Kaunas Hotel where the staff were the complete opposite and could not do enough for you.

The staff was very helpfull with printing my ticket. The room was specious and quiet.The restaurant had an outside terrace. The location was in the center, near bus 29 that goes to and from the airport.

The room was I think especially chosen because of my one night stay. It was a spacious room, but it smelled of parfume. Later on I understood why: the bathroom smelled rather stuffy and humid because of all the water that splashed allover the floor. The shower curtain wasn't functioning well, the crane neither. Next morning the lights didn't work in the bathroom.

Everything ! Location is good for both new and old towns as only short walking distance away. Local transport also very close by. Room was good size, clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast - wide selection and ample supply. Staff very helpful.

Entrance is a little off-putting but once inside it's very nice.

It is good hotel. Lock does not work, but the staff was helpful. Wc was smelling
