This guesthouse is run with flare by Elvyra, who is very friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet part of Nida, yet within easy walking distance of the centre. The garden is beautiful, with various seating areas and a lovely view of the lagoon. Several of the rooms have small balconies/ terraces which also look out over the lagoon. There are forest walks nearby and within 30 minutes you can walk to the beach with its beautifully-situated beach bar (summer only) - a perfect place to watch the sun go down. Elvyra lays on a fantastic breakfast, which you can eat in a covered gazebo, overlooking the lagoon. The rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous.
There was nothing to dislike.
We liked there everything - delicious breakfast, cheerful landlady and staff, wonderful view of the lagoon from the balcony...
the kindness of the staff which was very helpful (even if they speak mainly german), and the breakfast was enjoyable in the nice garden with the sea view. The location is a bit away from the center but still accessible by walk. great place to stay!
Since the hotel is in a natural parc, it had to be expected; the room had several big spiders on the ceiling.... so not an ideal place for phobic people!
Location was perfect, staff were really friendly, room was clean, comfortable and with a great view. The gardens are also really beautiful. Elvyra made us breakfast extra early on the morning we left and gave us a lift to the bus station too. I would definitely recommend staying here.
It was really hot at night so it would have been good to have a fan in the room as we couldn't leave the windows fully open as we were on ground floor and there were bugs out at night.
Everything was great! Very nice attitude! Good breakfast.
Vila elvira- room was comfortable enough- we have been taking the one on the second floor with sofa. owner allowed us to use "convertable to bed" sofa for 2 kids with no additional charge. it was clean and staff was nice. good "home" breakfast, a lot of choices for such a small hotel/"pansion". The price is on the local "high" level for July, but it is OK. I d advice to people (also with kids) to stay there. moreover, hotel had its own garden where you could have a break and watch morning/evening sun, drink coffee, write postcard or just taking a rest after the journey by bike.
Hotel had problems with internet, but probably it was not the owner's fault. also, we had to pay additional 10 litas per kid per breakfast which would be considered Ok(nevertheless kids do not eat much by default), if it would be said/announced in advance(I have been calling in advance to find out about sofa and no extra charge for the kids to stay in the same room) . --- Nida has just ok (not more) restaurants as in all Lithuania (except some in vilnius, few in kaunas and couple or 3 in trakai). Food even in restaurants is like in cheap bistro, service is even cheaper. the one near the petrol station on the road(close to nida) is only one to be considered OK(old marine, or old captain). But you can get to stay in queue for a while to get a place.
Wonderful view of the water. Beautiful gardens. Idyllic scenery. Elvyra gave personal attention. Looked like we were in the best inn in Nida.
Nothing. It was wonderful.
Everything was excellent!!! Great staff, great comfort, great place, awsome breakfast!!! Would love to go back!!!
Everybody who works in this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend for older pairs, but it is relaxing for families also. Authentic decorations in every corner in and around the hotel would be exotic for most guest.
Not sutuable for the ones who needs special and intimate atmosphere. You can hear when your neighbour is using the bathroom or going to bed. Would love bigger breakfast variations as you always find the same food every morning.
This is the best stay in Nida:hearty welcome, helpful staff, comfort and cleanlines, the best breakfast I have had in Nida.
Loved the pancakes and outdoor breakfast!
Wonderfull owmner, calm and beautiful surrounding.Very lovely breakfast. Nuostabi šeimininkė,puiki aplinka, puikūs pusryčiai-jautiesi tartum būtum namuose.
