Front desk staff very helpful and in fluent English. Room size was grand, it was well fitted and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, providing good choice and high quality. If you come by air, the hotel includes free transport; we used it both ways. Booking.com rate Eu99 per night is an absolute bargain. Will definitely go back. |

This hotel is excellent, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are very big. Breakfast was included and it was the best thing! It not very close from the centre and it has no parking in the building. |

Very clean, close to the train station. Long walk to city center. Luxembourg was very boring though. Eat early, absolutely everything closes at 6:30pm. |

The restaurant and the bar are very good. One person at the reception that was not very polite and professional by the time of check out. She has difficulties with english language. On request of the hotel i made the check out on the previous night, where i paid everything they asked me. Then in the morning when i asked for a taxi to the airport, the lady said that i was leaving without paying one night, the last one, in front of several other people. I paid what they asked, without questioning, and now, i was putted in check like a bump that wants to skip a payment, in front of other people ion the lobby. Of course that i paid again but it is the attitude that was wrong. They made a mistake and i was to be blame for it. I did not like it. |

Staff were friendly but nothing special. A fairly ordinary hotel. Internet access failed and was not corrected. |

We stayed at the Alfa for one night in July. We easily communicated with the friendly staff in both French and English. I had booked a double room through booking.com (and got a lower rate than they gave me over the telephone), and I asked for a larger bed if possible. When we arrived, we found that we'd been given one of the best rooms. The bedroom was very spacious and had a king-size, luxurious bed, and the bathroom was modern, with a nice bathtub. The hotel is right across from the train station (good for day trips). But it's not noisy, and not in the seedier section of the neighborhood. It's a 15-minute walk into the center of the old town, but there are restaurants nearby, and a bus just outside. Would stay there again. Many of the rooms seemed empty, so the placement in one of the best rooms and the low rate might not always apply. I can't speak to the quality of the smaller rooms. And although the comfort was excellent and the service good, the distance from the center of activity and the lack of pool or spa would make me hesitate to pay luxury prices for what was a very convenient, extremely comfortable stay. |

Hotel is located right opposite Lux Gare, has free wifi, near sundry shops, restaurants within walking distance. My room at 3rd floor was spacious overooking Lux Gare, was not noisy at all with centralised air-conditioned. Buffet breakfast was expensive at cost eur18 (but have choice of Continental breakfast at cheaper price) and wifi connection was slow at night. |

The room given was at the back and very large which included a huge four-poster bed - all very clean and lovely. Don't take the rooms leading to the street as it's very noisy due to its location in front of the train station. The hotel does not inform you in advance that they take a deposit from your credit credit as guarantee. And if you stay late at night outside, you need to wait for the receptionist to open the door for you and that can take quite awhile. |

Staff is very friendly. Location near station is good. Walk to centre Place d'Armes with the lovely terraces is only a 10 minute walk but lovely with the bridgecrossing over the Casemates. Room could have a small Coffee/Tea tray in room. |

Ideally situated near the city centre, on a wooded hillside, you will find the wonderful Hilton Luxembourg with its peaceful garden terrace. |
Conveniently located in the city centre, the hotel is 5 minutes away from the business centre and old town alike. |
The hotel is located in the city center just opposite the central railway station at the Air Terminal of the Luxair Shuttle Bus. All other buses do in fact leave or start from here. |
The 4-star Carlton hotel has an ideal location in the heart of the city. The old town and main shopping areas are located only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. |
