su cercanía a la estación, amplia habitación, lobby y ambiente sobrio

me cargaron 3 desayunos que no tomé, aunque me los quitaron al reclamar. El acceso a internet pudo ser mejor (o acercado a lo que decía su descripción) por la categoría de hotel que es y que uno va de trabao, al preguntar me dijeron que bajara a usar la del lobby y me ofrecían un trago, pero uno va con su laptop para no tener que bajar.

La situación del hotel es muy buena, delante de la estación de tren y a 10 minutos andando del centro. El personal de recepción muy amable.Tanto las habitaciones como el baño son muy espaciosas y cómodas.

Tenia una reunión con la Comisión Europea, venia de otra reunión en otro país, llegaba tarde por la noche y necesitaba un hotel con facil acceso desde el aeropuerto (hay un bus que lleva al a puerta) y al día siguiente tenía que coger otro bus a la sede de la Comisión Europea, desde la puerta del hotel.

Que hasta ahora no he tenido nunca una habitación "muy mala" cosa que ocurre en otros hoteles al reservar a través de Vds.

Quizás algo de falta de mantenimiento en las habitaciones (lámpara medio rota, por ejemplo).

location and free wi-fi connection

Very clean, close to the train station.

Long walk to city center. Luxembourg was very boring though. Eat early, absolutely everything closes at 6:30pm.

The location across from the central train station is very convenient.

The restaurant and the bar are very good.

One person at the reception that was not very polite and professional by the time of check out. She has difficulties with english language. On request of the hotel i made the check out on the previous night, where i paid everything they asked me. Then in the morning when i asked for a taxi to the airport, the lady said that i was leaving without paying one night, the last one, in front of several other people. I paid what they asked, without questioning, and now, i was putted in check like a bump that wants to skip a payment, in front of other people ion the lobby. Of course that i paid again but it is the attitude that was wrong. They made a mistake and i was to be blame for it. I did not like it.

We stayed at the Alfa for one night in July. We easily communicated with the friendly staff in both French and English. I had booked a double room through booking.com (and got a lower rate than they gave me over the telephone), and I asked for a larger bed if possible. When we arrived, we found that we'd been given one of the best rooms. The bedroom was very spacious and had a king-size, luxurious bed, and the bathroom was modern, with a nice bathtub. The hotel is right across from the train station (good for day trips). But it's not noisy, and not in the seedier section of the neighborhood. It's a 15-minute walk into the center of the old town, but there are restaurants nearby, and a bus just outside. Would stay there again.

Many of the rooms seemed empty, so the placement in one of the best rooms and the low rate might not always apply. I can't speak to the quality of the smaller rooms. And although the comfort was excellent and the service good, the distance from the center of activity and the lack of pool or spa would make me hesitate to pay luxury prices for what was a very convenient, extremely comfortable stay.

Hotel is located right opposite Lux Gare, has free wifi, near sundry shops, restaurants within walking distance. My room at 3rd floor was spacious overooking Lux Gare, was not noisy at all with centralised air-conditioned.

Buffet breakfast was expensive at cost eur18 (but have choice of Continental breakfast at cheaper price) and wifi connection was slow at night.

Spartan and old furnishings. Parking is inconvenient and expensive.

There are good access to the Bus stop and train station.

Too expensive the breakfast, I did not take it.

5 minute walk toward the city center, close to the trainstation and ample paid parking around

No own parking garage, during the week very busy outside with busses and traffic, interior of room was a bit dated.
