Located in a romantic street leading to the medieval castle of Vianden, the residence is situated in one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Maria and Jean Nelissen Beckers have run this Auberge for over 37 years. They aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

After 4 months of renovation, one can see new cosy rooms and a new brasserie. The restaurant offers seasonal dishes, and the brasserie has a cosy bar and offers traditional dishes. Different menus are on offer, as well as menus for children.

There are parking spaces opposite the hotel, as well as a garage for bicycles. Garage for Bicycles and motor is secured.

Cancellation

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 2 years are charged EUR 6.00 per night and person for cots.

One child from 3 to 6 years is charged EUR 15.00 per night and person in an extra bed.

One child from 7 to 12 years is charged EUR 20.00 per night and person in an extra bed.

One older child or adult is charged EUR 30.00 per night and person in an extra bed.

Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Laundry for cycling-groups and a separate storeroom with cleaning facilities for mountain bikes and bicycles. There is a secured garage for bicycles and motorcycles at an extra charge.

Food & beverage

The Restaurant ... of which we are proud. The interieur ... warm and with lots of love for details. The gastronomic à la Carte Restaurant with a capacity of 30 - to 70 persons. The Kitchen ... season bound, fresh, classic. Maintained and presented according to the French tradition. The owners hobby since 35 years ... behind the oven.

Our hotel has 2 restaurants, a Brasserie and a Gastronomic Restaurant. During summer we invite you to our terrace .

The gastronomic menu changes every 6 to 8 weeks. The most beautiful season is the spring with its newcomers, but the highlight is the wild season which starts in October. International and regional specialities are on the menu through the whole year.

Room information

After refurbishment, all cosy rooms offer the same level of comfort. They have an en suite bathroom and are equipped with all common facilities including beds with Latoflex, a seating area and modern furniture.

The standard rooms are located on the 3rd floor and are non-smoking rooms.

Non-smoking rooms and Familyrooms (max 2 children) are always Rooms Grand Comfort (1st and 2nd floor).

In our guesthouse opposite the hotel we have 14 Rooms Grand Comfort and there is an elevator.

Area information

Our Hotel is located in the centre of Vianden in a small street leading to the Castle of Vianden. The small park and the start of many walking paths are right in front of the hotel. There is also a children's playground.

Close to the hotel there is the Puppetmuseum and the Museum of Art Rustique.

There is heated swimmingpool in Vianden, a chairlift above the valley, mini-golf, many biking and hiking routes and bicylce rent in town.

Beautiful hotel! Rooms were really nice. Close to everything. We all loved it! Loved that they had English speaking tv channels as we had been traveling a while without news.

No internet, at the hotel nor any where in Vianden. Had to pay for parking, unless you arrive after 18:30 and leave before 8:00.

hotel was clean and beds very comfortable

Even though we were on the third floor rooms were a bit noisy from outside traffic if you did not keep the windows closed. The hotel has undergone a recent refurbishment but the rooms were still faiirly basic and had an old fashioned look. Could have done with tea/coffee facilities in rooms. We had two rooms one had a nice modernised shower room the other didn't seem as modern.

This was not a good hotel for us

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - there was no kettle in the room and they would not give us hot water

Zeer vriendelijke behandeling van de eigenaar en zijn vrouw. Ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken! Ook het eten was goed,en zeer verzorgd. Een fijn hotel om te verblijven.
