The Hotel was as good as closed as we came. A non foreign language speaker arrived some minutes after we arrived. The restaurant was closed and so was the bar. The promised wellness was non existant and the swimming pool promised at a next door hotel was not really for this hotel´s visitors. We were promised a large family room for four guests but in reality it was a small room with one king size bed and a bunkbed. The breakfast was niggardly with a few slices of ham and a very old looking plastic like fake cheddar cheese. For the family room we paid 175 euros which we would never have accepted had we seen how small the room was initially. To be fair, the bathrooms were nice and there were new tv flatscreens in the rooms.

We werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald. De recent gerenoveerde kamer en badkamer waren zeer proper, heel mooi gezellig en smaakvol ingericht, alles aanwezig, maar wel allemaal aan de kleine kant. Het ontbijt was verzorgd, lekker en voldoende keuze, zeker zeer aangenaam naast het raam met zicht op het kasteel en de rivier, een rustgevende sfeer. De kamer was zeker niet ruim, vooral de badkamer was piepklein en dus niet praktisch voor 2 personen tegelijk. De moderne douche met glazen wand zonder deur oogt heel mooi, maar na een korte douche was de badkamervloer een zwembad. Door de zeer dunne muren en kamerdeur was elk geluidje in het hotel goed hoorbaar. In het dorp zelf is er niet veel te zien en vooral weinig culinair aanbod. Wel veel kleine brasseries/restaurants, maar allemaal een beperkte kaart. De kaart van het restaurant van L'Auberge de L'Our zag er wel beter uit, maar dan betaal je er wel meer voor dan gemiddeld.

Schöne Lage, neues Bad, saubere Zimmer, Kühlschrank im Zimmer, gutes Restaurant im Hotel und gute Restaurants Ort. Metzgerei im Hotel. Matratzen sehr weich. Leider wurden keine Betten gemacht.

De locatie Niet de schuld van het hotel, maar in deze periode van het jaar (november) is er in deze stad niks te beleven. Kamer was ook wel erg klein.

Personne à la réception lors de l'arrivée à 19 h ... Il a fallut téléphoner pour faire venir la réceptionniste. Odeur d'encens dans les couloir de l'hôtel .... plutôt discutable, chacun ses gouts Fenêtres ouvertes, odeurs de fumées des cheminées de chauffage centrale.

Gentillesse du personnel et situation à l'arrière de l'hôtel le long de l'eau - sympa et relaxant pour boire l'apéro. Réveillé le matin d''un jour de congé par des travaux de ponçage peinture dans le hall.
