Super nice staff
no wifi on the second floor The room was always cold
quiet, comfort, view of the casttle.
Good location. Good room, spacious, clean.
Late arrival a bit complicated, close at 20 o´clock. Bathroom not really practical, since divided only by a glass "door", i.e. not proper door.
Location and amenities were great.
Great hotel but thin walls. Could hear every laugh sneeze channel change and more from rooms next door.
Amazing place amazing hotel It was a wonderful stay there
Everything is great
Nice, modern and clean room.
Only a small wardrobe was present in the room. Nice shower but no curtain or barrier to prevent water from wetting the bathroom ground.
The Hotel is too good, center location, though very quiet inside hotel room. They have cozy interior inside the room, with comfortable bed, Big bath room and stylish shower. Also they have big lobby on each floor with comfortable couch, we liked it a lot and enjoyed our stay.
1) FOOD – Food inside Hotel restaurant is very expensive and not so good, do not get trapped with restaurant location (next to the river). There are plenty of other restaurants nearby hotel (walking distance) with Amazing food though cheaper. 2) RECEPTION – They do not have proper reception, also no one knows English, even though they have mentioned that they have multilingual receptionist. 3) WIFI – Very poor Wifi, we need to sit outside of room to connect.
Proximity to castle. Great views, nice people
Big horse flies in food area. Americans aren't used to this as we have mesh over all windows! Kind of a turn off
The room was modern and nice. We had a suite which was spacious. There is no air conditioning so you need to leave the window open for a breeze which let's in the sound if the people at the outdoor cafés.
When we checked in we got a voucher for a glass of champagne. When we went to get it we were told we had to buy dinner to get it.
Riverside location. Views of Vianden Castle from the terrace and the room.
Traffic noise. Bad evening meal: overpriced and overcooked.
Great breakfast For the size of the town better than ok restaurant Helpful staff
Parking a problem on weekend during high season You will climb steps, but if this is an issue, vianden is probably not your best choice.
The hotel is centrally located by the river with charming views and easy walking distance to the château. Parking is roadside but in a quiet road about 100 metres from the hotel.
Late checkout was no problem!
The location by the river and with a view of the castle is great. I stayed in a comfort room with a baby and this is a compact room as advertised but suited our needs just fine. It is well designed for its size and makes good use of space. Breakfast was a nice continental breakfast with variety of breads and meats, fruit, cereal etc. The restaurant was nice, sitting by the river again with some view of the castle but also a little understaffed. Food was average for the price. Very good wifi.
Entrance to the hotel is by 4 stairs and I had a buggy, baby, bags and a bad back. After staying a day and a half I found another door that get entrance to the ground level that is only one step. I was disappointed that no staff member had pointed that out to me. All rooms are another approx 20 stairs so this hotel is not suitable for people with access issues. There didn't seem to be staff around in the mornings - one morning I couldn't find anyone so helped myself to the room with the baby high chairs and then helped myself to a cloth to clean it before we could use it. Focus seems to be more on the restaurant service that the hotel accommodation.
Nice staff, Great location.
No parking, A very cold room with paper thin walls.
