Friendly and more than helpful people, especially the receptionist, who shown up and gave the keys of a room, after the hotel's hours (they close at 11:00pm and I had no idea about that).

We have arrived in a very hot day, the room was at the last floor and the lack of the air condition was an issue, but the room could be cooled off easily by leaving the window open. The parking the hotel talks about is in fact on the street. The hotel doesn't have its own parking as far as I noticed.

Location was good, room was large and comfortable and very clean. Beds very comfortable. Very good value for the area

When we arrived they had no idea there was 3 of us in the studio room, as we had taken my elderly mother as she cannot be left on her own. By email and phone it had been made clear that she would have the sofa bed made up as a bed. This is what they suggested but when we got there they denied this and had made no note of this! Lucky I had my iphone with me and found their reply saying that they had noted there would be three and said they had never spoken to me on the phone. So we had to wait for them to make up the room. Although they said it was disabled friendly and there was a lift, there were in fact five large steps to come up to the front of the hotel which was difficult for my mother. They were also closing for the holiday season the next day so were cleaning and scrubbing everything in sight and we sat at breakfast amongst all this activity, not very relaxing! However they let us stay in the room until midday which was kind as we were going to a lunch party nearby. The studio room was nice and big with kitchenette which we were told had no kitchen utensils. Have to say would have expected a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities.
