we stayed in the cheapest rooms with shared bathroom facilities. the room was simple, but fine, however the toilet and shower was pretty bad. toilet - flush was broken and there were cigarette butts in the water. |

This does not fall under the category of a hotel!! A poorly run business that has overpriced its unprofessional services! ( I believe that the guest reviews were manipulated to make this dungeon look better). the stay was very uncomfortable for the following reasons: 1) there was no toilet paper in the bathroom 2) There was no bed sheets covering the bed - (I had to sleep on the quilt. 3) it is certainly not good value for money and I will not stay here again. (the hotel ibis is much cheaper and is way more comfortable!! |

secure parking was worth the money. Breakfast was a good selection the drainage in the bathroom was very poor and there was a lot of building work and trip hazards around the hotel at the time. There were bits of doors and things in the stairwells etc. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal and price was reasonable. Television not in a great place - would have hurt neck to watch it for more than a few minutes. |

The location and the nice man at the reception - probably the owner The hotel is at the moment being refurbished. In my opinion it should not be taking in any guests!!!! It's completely dusty and upside down - probably not safe to accept guests. When finished it would probably turn out to be quite a decent hotel for the price you have to pay. |

Good location,friendly helpful staff,getting about easy with station and main bus stop very nearby,easy walk to the old town in about 15mins,overall enjoyed my stay. Noise was noticable with work going on nearby outside on other buildings,but also during my stay alot of refurbishment going on in the hotel with alot of going on outside my door,meaning great care was needed to get out and navigate all the obstacles,with fairness the workmen did their best and were poilte but it was a hassle at the time one i could have done without. |

Staff/owner were very helpful with enquiries and it was very good value for money. We were on a motorbike tour so all we really wanted was a warm shower and a decent bed - at a reasonable price, which is exactly what we got. Convenient underground parking across the road. Not really a criticism, but major renovations were being carried out so the hotel looked a bit of a mess. I'm sure it'll be fine when it's all completed. Oh, and watch out for the airplanes - it appears to be on a flightpath. Breakfast was basic but, as it was included in the price, that was perfectly fair. |

Help and assistance provided by the Staff on duty. Could hear the next door neighbour snoring. Other wise it not bad for a price like that. |

Not too expensive. The Bed was fine (not too soft, as often in many hotels). Double windows. So it was quite quiet when windows were closed. The hotel was being renovated at the time of my stay (that's ok and should not last for more than a month I guess). However, the wifi was not accessible, either in my room or in the breakfast place (there I was able to connect to the Carlton wifi but...). |

Very convenient location, less than three minutes from train station Not clean; floors all stained; room was smelly; bedding linen looked clean, but with the whole feel in this hotel, you couldn't be sure; it is a budget accomodation that could be a recommendation when floors and walls would be renovated |
