Best Western Hotel International  

Very convenient for train station and bus to airport. Breakfast was very good with wide selection. Room was perfectly acceptable and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming with one exception (see below)

On arrival (admittedly before the check-in time) all we wanted to do was dump our bags and go and explore. We were "greeted" by the most unpleasant, rude and obnoxious receptionist I have ever encountered. She was the first person we spoke to on arriving in Luxembourg and made us feel like naughty children. She spoke to me as if I was dirt and left us seething. We made it clear that we knew we were too early to check in but all she wanted to do was shout at us. Fortunately when we returned a couple of hours later she had been replaced and the man at reception was as pleasant and friendly as could be. However our initial experience left a bad taste in the mouth and sadly coloured our view of the hotel and Luxembourg. Because of this we feel unable to recommend the hotel despite all the other staff we encountered being fine. First impressions count!

Really convenient position when travelling for business, just in front of the Train Station, Bus station and Flipco bus stops (shuttle bus for Hahn and Charleroi airports). Friendly staff, 10% discount and a free glass of wine if you eat in the hotel bistot or restaurant (food is nice and prices are low, anyway). Room was clean, warm and comfortable and I got free wifi as well. Prices are fair, I don't think you could get the same quality for a lower fare (at least not in Luxembourg...). I will probably return there, when I travel again to Luxembourg.

No gym. Not much food choice for breakfast.

only the location was good. Everything else was bad.

the room was very small and between 2 floors which means the elevators did not reach it. Also there was no view at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Breakfast very poor.

Personnel très aimable, chambre impeccable (j'ai réservé une "deluxe single room", pour une nuit), position de l'hotel parfaite face à la gare, rapport qualité / prix excellent. Je recommande et y retournerai. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious room (I booked a "deluxe single room" for one night), perfect position in front of the train station, excellent price / quality ratio. I recommend and will stay there again.

Conveniently located opposite central station.

Busy spot and quite a bit of traffic noise.

Breakfast was great. Lots to chose from.

WiFi was not that great. At peak times connection was down to 1Mbps which meant that I couldn't Skype my wife.

They accepted my Miles&More card, but I didn't get any miles on my account.

Location is great as it is opposite the Central Train Station. Breakfast is good, same as the food at the hotel restaurant. Bathroom was fine too.

Room quite small and pillow very uncomfortable. Despite the room was not facing the train station, a lot of noise still made it in the room. I had specifically asked for a quiet room away from the staircase and lift but in fact was assigned a room opposite the lift. Also, every-time I placed the "do not disturb' sign on the door, the cleaners still accessed the room. This happened on four occasions out of four!

Quality level has to meet expectations of an international name, and that influences choice.

Very limited hotel parking space reserved for hotel guests. In our case nothing was available. Nearest safe parking was several hundred metres away and in inclement weather conditions - as was the case - the subsequent car journey was spent with wet clothes!

Excellent location

The location for train travel, it's only take a few min. To walk to hotel if you have luggages. Breakfast also very good, very happy for over night stay there.

Did not realized the hotel was so closed to airport, you will hear very loud noises if you open the window. But it's alright if window are closed. That problem was due to the location, and hotel has nothing to do with it.

Clean, comfortable room, good location. Good wireless internet service.
