City Hotel  

It was a 2star hotel not a 4star hotel for sure. I saw some body has already mentioned that before and I believe that booking.com must review the points about the hotels and react. Room was extreemly smelly. Very noisy in which dosent let you to sleep properly. Very small. You have to wait alot for the only old lift each time. Very basic hotel. Definitly I blame booking.com for this. You.must restore the trust of your customer by telling the truth.

The location was near to the train station and also walking distance to the city.

1. The parking garage for the hotel was located in a shady, drug dealing area, one block away. I felt very wearing of being jumped or having my bags stolen when I was walking from the garage to the hotel. 2. The front desk was very slow to check in. I was standing for 10 mins (twice) before anyone came the desk to assist me. 3. Very noisy, being the hotel had rooms facing the busy street below. There was no air conditioning in the room so we had to open the windows to require ventilation; but in sacrafice we had to give up peace and quiet. The sounds of cars honking and people talking on the street was constant. 4. The curtains do not block out any sunlight; at 5am our room was bright and waking us up.

A very good hotel, but breakfast very simple for a 4 star hotel

The hotel is in a very good location. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The road works outside the hotel were noisy in the morning.

Very helpful staff. Comfortable room - we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and were delighted to receive special treatment.

Situated close from the station

Smell of tobacco in the room even if the hotel is supposed to be a smoke free area.

the staff were very helpful, friendly, and answered our questions, and looked after our luggage after check out. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, lovely breakfast and fantastic location. easy to find, close to bus/train station, shops and few mins walk into the centre to palace n cathedral. good value for money.

only one problem, the walls were quite thin, we didn't hear talking, tv or bathroom from next door but them being intimate, not what you want to hear night and morning. however, we assume they were really loud as we didn't hear them any other time.

Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was nice and helpful.

The bathroom could be bigger

Location and Staff. We could walk to City Centre and there were restaurants and shops close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. They help make the stay an easly one.

The room was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful.

Thought Peggy was not so kind.

Clean, convenient location. Room wasn't large but had adequate space to move around. Very good breakfast.

Parking is an issue if you have a lot of luggage. Better to drop it at the door and then park in the city parking lot; which they will give you an easy to understand map to.

Good clean hotel good breakfast close to station

Good an friendly staff, breakfast until 11 A.M. on weekends, good value for money if you are looking for a central hotel for a weekend city trip. You can use the hotel parking for 12€ per day.

There was a very strong plastic smell in the room which didn't disappear, even after opening the window for a long time.... Leaving the window open is a no go due to the traffic...
