El Grand Hotel Cravat està situat al cor de la ciutat de Luxemburg i ofereix un luxe clàssic i una vista directa sobre el monument a la guerra de Gëlle Fra i la catedral de Notre-Dame. Les habitacions d'aquest hotel de primera classe conserven l'encant històric d'una residència autèntica. En entrar a l'establiment, el vestíbul us acollirà amb còmodes butaques. El restaurant de l'hotel, Le Normandy, és famós per la seva cuina internacional. Deixeu que el cambrer us serveixi una copa al bar americà Le Trianon o degusteu la cuina local i francesa a la braseria La Taverne. Cada dia podreu gaudir d'un bufet d'esmorzar gratuït. The entire hotel looks very old and unkempt. The room was very small and I think they haven't change anything for the last 15 years. And I mean that the tapestry of the bed and the curtains were so old that their colors were faded and washed. The carpet was very dirty and in the entire room was an unpleaseant smell. In the bathroom was awful. At the reception (right in that moment) was also the owner of the hotel, and we told her about how dissapointed we were regarding the room, and we ask her if we can change it. She told us that for the mony we pay this is the room we get, and if we want a nicer room we can have it but for another 200 euro extra. So she knew how the rooms were and dind't want to do someting about it. The only thing good was the breakfast. But overall I would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

The location which was the main reason for chosing the hotel. The breakfast was not bad and the staff was friendly. I have been travelling to Luxembourg for work since 1998. Looking at the hotel a few years back it gave me the impression of a very porche and aristocratic hotel which must have been that time. But now it seems that the old glory is gone. The hotel hasnt been rennnovated for years now. This is obvious in the public places as well as the rooms of the hotel. The furniture in the rooms are not just old fushioned they are old. It is obvious that they havent been replaced for 20 or 30 years.The room was pretty cold even with central heating. To conclude I didnt feel confortable in the room. Not all rooms are like these. My colleague got a much better room than I did.There is no uniformity in the rooms even if the clients are paying the same amount of money.

Good located. Big room comodities café and tea. But the bed wad not one as the pictute in the booking. Realy was two Twin beds. He. Wi fi. Even paid. Sixs euro a hour. Doesnt works. Not at night. Not at day..you must go down at the computer from hotel. If you need something at the internet..

Location The room was cold and stank of cigarettes despite the fact that I requested a non-smoking one, poor choice of food at breakfast bar and absence of free internet in the hotel

This hotel is ideally located just 150m from the city's central point and is out of any noise caused by early morning cleaning/service trucks. I booked this hotel about 2 1/2 months in advanced and got a very competitive rate. Coming from Ireland, I expected the hotel would provide an iron to sort out my shirts for the week. The hotel advised me that it was against their rule as it was a fire hazard. Fair enough, but the rates their were charging to get my shirts ironed by hotel service were excessive.

The hotel is quite old and starts to be shabby. My room was on the street side and the noise from the traffic went on late at night and started again early. Anyone who needs a good night sleep should avoid this hotel. The breakfast was good.

Good hotel with traditional good service. Best location just in the center. The price I stayed was exceptionally low, so that I was very much satisfied. Can not watch English tv program. Internet is slow. Shower room smelled slightly. It should be excellent for all, if those points are improved.

Centrally located, 10 min walk from train station. Friendly staff, particularly at reception. Musty smell in room on arrival and staff had no hesitation in moving us to another room, which was an upgrade at no extra cost.

The location was perfect, right next to the Notre Dame and also the starting point for the hop on hop off bus tour. The old town was a short walk away as were a number of other attractions. The staff were friendly and accomodating and the buffet breakfast included was good. The hotel was a bit dated and the lobby area smelt of stale smoke as guests were permitted to smoke in the bar area next tot he lobby area. Be sure to specify and confirm you want a non-smoking room. The tv remote didn't work either.

A wonderful hotel, one of the best we have stayed in. A lovely building with a touch of 1930s style glamour but with current day comfort. Very clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. If you are visiting Luxembourg you just have to stay here!
