The Grand Hotel Cravat is one of the last typical Luxembourg grand hotels owned by the family Cravat. Carlo Cravat, the general manager, is the 4th generation. Together with his team he is looking forward to welcoming you in the hotel. They will do their utmost to make your stay enjoyable.
The brasserie La Taverne serves local and French cuisine in its stylish, yet informal environment.
The restaurant Le Normandy is famous for its international cuisine. Located on the 1st floor, it provides you with refined dining experience.

Location - very central. Staff were pleasant and breakfast was fine. Room on second floor was very dull and urgently in need of decoration/renovation. No air conditioning, so a lot of traffic noise at night with window open. |

Location is excellent for immediate walk to centre and restaurants or sightseeing Lux. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Nice view over the bridge and valley from the room window. I will stay there again. Might be a bit noisy during mornings from street traffic.The hotel needs some renovation to be really up to the rates asked. |

Without doubt this is a good 'old style' hotel - very central for the city, friendly and courteous staff who genuinely wish to please,and an excellent small restaurant. The accomodation is however not up to expectation and there is a need for refurbishment of both rooms and bathrooms. |

Breakfast and breakfast room were very nice. The restaurant is said to be very good also. I called twice a toll free number and was charged 12 EUR!!! The TV did not work properly!!! Rooms and furniture could be renovated. |

Good services from the hotel personel. Unfortunately the night I spent there was the very same of the night maraton in the city. The noise was so high that we could not sleep. Perhaps next time we will be luckyer. |

We found the staff helpful and the location ideal. It has an old world luxury atmosphere. Actually, royalty was at the hotel when we left. Would love to know who it was as there was an escort outside and a young man dressed in military uniform with staff in the lobby. Please let us know.It It was a little noisy because of the location, but just wear ear plugs. You can't have a better location for sight-seeing and viewing. |

Please write at least 15 words Served my purpose for 1 night - I was grateful not to have to spend a 2nd. one. A grand hotel in it's day, location and outlook superb, but in need of refurbishment. Bedroom cool for time of year - generally, but bathroom especially, quite grubby. No introductory written information on faciliies - principally, where and when breakfast is avaialble - it was, and it was fine, I just had to find my own way. As above. |
